Today,I have received passport..Below are the events fr my ICT

Online application submitted on Jan 30 2013 for ICT

Received application approval email on MAR-01-2013

Sent passports to NYC embassy MAR-04-2013

Received passports with stamping - MAR-22-2013

Hi i wonder if you applied online while you are inside canada or outside canada that you got your passport back with stamps already? because i am inside canada when i applied for a paper application and wonder if i have to exit to the border to get a stamp on the passport and get the work permit or that they will just send all together passport and workpermit with stamps also? please help coz i get a lot of confusion around what to do thanks.

Hi,

Since you're inside canada you need to flagpole. You need to go to the nearest border and show the letter that you receive from the embassy (approved letter for your work permit). Your work permit will be issued at the border.

hi how did you apply for a caregiver work permit? is there a difference in caregiver work permit application and the regular work permit with lmo like food counter attendant?

Hello,

I am not sure with that, but in caregiver's case, we also have LMO and contract which are required for temporary resident visa application. I have no idea if they have the same procedure as to the food counter. Dis you mail your application? And how did you pay, bank draft?

My application was for food counter attendant but i paid bu bank draft. I also have a contract and lmo. I guess procedure is the same.

I cannot tell you exactly how much or what bank you should make or buy your bank draft because it varies from country to country and its currency. If your inside canada u can pay online too
