Chinmay - Yeah, I have read that. I guess you have a valid case and can explain that in the emergency form. As per some of the recent forums, ppl collected it at the consulate without any issues.

Hello - 60 days incl weekends. The processing time on their website is 2 months, so they will respond after that.

I have seen ppl receiving emails like - your application is finalized for Work Visa (or) application is finalized. I guess in both the cases it is approved.

Hello Chinmay - I have sent an email after 60 days for the status check and they responded back stating that it is still under review process. I have sent another email after 70 days and they responded back stating that my application is finalized and will be sent shortly. You can pbly follow...

Hi All, I have submitted my application on Jan 12th through mail and received my visa yesterday - Apr 2nd. The consulate is very prompt in responding to the emails, so that's the best option to check the status. Thanks, Vamsee
