WORK PERMIT APPLICATION - UAE APPLICANT

Hi All.
I have applied for TWP for my self and Temporary visitor visa for my wife, as I plan to get her TWP once we settle there.
here is my timeline that I wished to share:

application sent through ARAMEX on 28/08/2012.
Application reached embassy 29/08/2012.
NOC 0711.
I sent an enquirey email on 24/09/2012 , but till today they didn't replied with even one single word.
I atteched all the docs as on web, original passports, work certificates, Offer letter and letter from my prospective employer, Copy of LMO, Copy of university degree, copy of marriage certificate.
I don't know, but it looks they have a huge volume of application .

Validity till 2015 . No condition on dates.

I sent enquiry email to the embassy on 24/10, but no reply till now.
Please help me what shall i do.
My life is on hold, I can’t focus on my current work.same time I can’t resign without getting the visa.
I’m so nerves, some times so frustrate.

i have the same situation. I sent all my requirements last may 10 and until now I don't have answers neither reply from the embassy. Is there anyone knows exactly the processing time? I am really getting worried as I have included my passports in my application. Is there a way to ask the embassy for an update?

Please help.... really need an answer...

We have the same month when I send my application in Abu dhabi under LCP. No update also
