You bet. I even have to gamble on my current work and resign just to be ready when the visa is approved. I haven't figured yet what I'll do if I don't get the result before the 21st or if I get the rejection. The waiting time is too long now considering here in Saudi they don't have PR applications.

My employer also ask for an update and I told him that I am already past due for the average processing time here in Riyadh.
I have no option but to send an enquiry to CIC-Riyadh visa section and wait for their reply. I am planning to forward this response to my employer so they are aware that the embassy still not finalized my application.

So guys, let us continue praying and hoping for this week.

My representatives are continuously following-up my case and they asked me to sign again the "Use of Reps" form and also an authorization for them to be able to obtain the results in my behalf. They are confident that the result will come within this week or next that's why my employer gave a deadline for me to be at work on 21 January 2012.

My representatives are continuously following-up my case and they asked me to sign again the "Use of Reps" form and also an authorization for them to be able to obtain the results in my behalf. They are confident that the result will come within this week or next that's why my employer gave a deadline for me to be at work on 21 January 2012.

A long shot but quite achievable considering we are approaching our 12 weeks. Sometimes a hunch this strong could mean something will come out in a week or 2

I can really understand the emotions that you are in through. Man these embassy guys should have some feelings of the emotions that we all are being through. I hope we all would leave Saudi Arabia in a happiest note. I will pray for all of us.

Its really strange. I also had the same issue with my lawyer. They also had to send again the use of rep form and release of personal info to get information on my case. I am not sure whether the Embassy have replied them back or not. This happened on 17th dec. The strange thing is when I inquired about my status again on 31st dec, The embassy replied to my inquiry. They are not replying to my lawyers inquires. I am not sure whats the case.

Any ideas guys??

@Rajaryan, it was me whose lawyer requested me to sign again the "Use of Reps" forms. I already sent these along with my application package. And again I was asked to sign the "Release of personal info" form. And then if you remember earlier my lawyer requested service canada to send an amended LMO.

You mentioned that ur lawyer is keeping a contact update about ur work permit. Does it mean that the embassy have informed ur lawyer the exact status of ur application?? means whats holding up ur application and what is pending at the moment etc?? some thing??

The last I got from my lawyer is that in respose to our recent status update request, the Embassy has asked for the "Use of rep" form and the authorization to obtain personal info. And also the Embassy claims that they did not yet receive the the additional information on the LMO NOC code. So far no other update is available from the lawyer but looks like they are confident that within the next 2 weeks the result will come. : : : : :

@Rajaryan, considering the average timeline of CIC Riyadh (8 weeks) and the last timeline we know (11 weeks), we can say that your timeline is way past overdue now. We ourselves, JB and my application, is closing-in to 11th week. It would be logical to assume that we might get our results in the next 2 weeks especially the 3 of us are all are on the skilled category. If you can provide an evidence from the forum that someone's timeline exceeded what we have now, then I can just concede my hunch.

I have searched the forum and the internet to get in the timeline of any previous riyadh based applicant.
1) I hardly found any applicant.
2) In the forum I saw the timeline for one gou SEAL and it was 50 days.
3) Some(1 or 2) of Applicants were caregiver or low skilled worker.
4) Most of them had applied for Student Visa so I didn't really checked their timeline.
So its like we are the first batch for TWP.

For what I understand "use of representative" is mainly to authorize someone who can transact on your behalf. That means BG's lawyer is the one who supplies documents and changes required by the embassy. "Release of personal info forms" is just sharing the status/ updates of your application, which maybe under BG's employer name.

Anyway as I mention to BG earlier regarding amendment to LMO, It happen to me before I send my application package to the embassy. My employer notice a mistake in my LMO and It took us 10 working days for the amendment to finally show in their website. It may or may not delay our application process but... only the VO would know.

What I am sure right now is that the 3 of us are already overdue. One way or another, our application will get finalized in a week or 2.
