salem10 said:Hi, when you file your initial application for refugee protection, you showed that your intension of permanent stay. By showing this interest, CIC will issue departure order on you. But this diparture order becomes not in effect if your refugee claim accepted as a refugee claimant.
Bu saying this, your refugee claim process is not completed and you did not meet CIC officer or file PIF. In my understanding, CIC officer at the office where you sent your application will issue a departure order on you. This departure order information will be saved on your file and passport number. Any future visa may effected by this.
Can you contact the visa office where you sent your application in Canada and get some more information from them? This will be the safest way to have clear information.
Hope the best for you
