if you are staying in the province, you can have many options to follow.

first, try to look for a hotel near the clinic of your choice. you need to be fresh and free of stress during your medicals.

second, you can try to look for relatives living near the clinic so you can stay there for a night and just take a taxi going there

i first made a decision of taking my medicals in SLEC global. then, study the location map on the best option. i took the second option. We stayed in FOrt Bonifacio (where my brother in law is presently residing). Sleep very early, and woke up at around 6am to prepare. We left at around 6:30am and arrived there at 7am.

its nice to see that we are the first to arrive for Canadian applicant.
i have a friend who is also living in Laguna. They left early in the morning, just commute and ride the MRT going to IOM. they were late and arrive there at around 10:30am. they saw a lot of people already in line and finished the medicals at around 4:30pm already. what is worse was that due to stress he already had a very high BP (according to him, its his first time)! :(

so, he undergo series of testing like ECG, threadmill test before he got his cardiologist' approval.

in short, be "always" prepared :)

I live in Dasmarinas, Cavite, but it's easy to commute to Makati. I work partly at home and partly at the office but I usually travel to Makati for work. That's why IOM is very convenient for me, malapit lang sa office yun. One FX ride :D :D :D

If there will be a similar ride to SLEC, I will opt for SLEC. I am quite lucky and always get a regular bp, sugar level and cholesterol. But I have been eating healthy for 5 months now, even lost 10 kgs already. Hehehe

I must say though, I should store my fat, not shed them, to be able to bear the cold in Canada LoL

baka nga lasing... ahehee... , i also have some history of high bp. so, im also feeling tense. kahit anong preparation ko 130/80 pa rin ako..so, minsan ganun yata talaga. buti its normal daw becasue of the the travel and my age also (?!)

good luck sa mga magpapamedical ;)

Hi ramcal,

Hope this will help, try decreasing your rice intake. My BP was also 140/90 High normal, during my yearly checkup. Then I reduce my rice intake, now my BP is back to 120/80 but also you have to take some excercise at least 15 minutes every morning or night...

no fasting , meaning to blood chem exams. only HIV and syphilis (contagious diseases). i recommend you to take your medicals at SLEC global (based on my experience) . there is no US visa applicants there. but you can also choose IOM or other recommended clinics. good luck. ;)

you can go to this link. http://www.slec.ph/canada-visa-applicants.shtml

based on our tracking sheet it is about 4-6months for family stream, this includes the LOA. so, most probably, your sponsor (and/or you) is about to be interviewed. make sure your sponsor is available for a call and be prepared for any questions.

:)

Haven't been around cause am so stress out...

Medical done november 5,2013. I called slec global they said it will be submitted after 10-14 working days. Hope and pray cem will consider my husbands medical report.

Re my daughter's application we got a letter from mpnp and was ask to submit print screen of sp2 that it was submitted before the file was closed. I hope they will change their decision since it was emailed to them last June 1,2013.

So to all mpnp applicant please make sure your sponsor will receive an aor of the sp2 and never e mail them sp2 on the same day if you are being endorse by the same person. Lesson learned!

Glad to hear that you are still pursuing your daughter's application. Good luck on that.

And hopefully no more further hiccups on your application.
