I live in Dasmarinas, Cavite, but it's easy to commute to Makati. I work partly at home and partly at the office but I usually travel to Makati for work. That's why IOM is very convenient for me, malapit lang sa office yun. One FX rideramcal said:if you are staying in the province, you can have many options to follow.
first, try to look for a hotel near the clinic of your choice. you need to be fresh and free of stress during your medicals.
second, you can try to look for relatives living near the clinic so you can stay there for a night and just take a taxi going there
i first made a decision of taking my medicals in SLEC global. then, study the location map on the best option. i took the second option. We stayed in FOrt Bonifacio (where my brother in law is presently residing). Sleep very early, and woke up at around 6am to prepare. We left at around 6:30am and arrived there at 7am.
its nice to see that we are the first to arrive for Canadian applicant.
i have a friend who is also living in Laguna. They left early in the morning, just commute and ride the MRT going to IOM. they were late and arrive there at around 10:30am. they saw a lot of people already in line and finished the medicals at around 4:30pm already. what is worse was that due to stress he already had a very high BP (according to him, its his first time)!
so, he undergo series of testing like ECG, threadmill test before he got his cardiologist' approval.
in short, be "always" prepared
If there will be a similar ride to SLEC, I will opt for SLEC. I am quite lucky and always get a regular bp, sugar level and cholesterol. But I have been eating healthy for 5 months now, even lost 10 kgs already. Hehehe
I must say though, I should store my fat, not shed them, to be able to bear the cold in Canada LoL
