Hi Forever Victory,

I strongly suggest that once you got the copy of your IELTS, immediately scan and submit to mpnp's email. Do not wait for them to request as IELTS is really a mandatory for all.

You may not know.. you may be waiting for MPNP to request for your IELTS but they may not request it and rather give an ineligibility email (which we don't want to happen)..

So I really suggest to submit ASAP the scan copy once you got the paper result.

Hi Fogus-Bogus,

Thank you for your reply.

The next IELTS exam will be on October 12, 2013. I might get the result last week of October. Will that be too late? It will be more than 4 months from the time I applied if I am going to submit IELTS result end of October. What can I do now in order for them not to deny my application because of lacking IELTS, Should I write and inform them about my scheduled IELTS exam on October 12 and tell them my result to follow. Can I send my payment O.R. to them as proof of my intention to take the exam?

Hope to hear from you again.

Once again, Thank you.

Regards,

Forever Victory

Hi,

I am new in this forum. I would like to ask when is the best time to pay the landing fee? We are currently waiting for the medical request. The last payment that we made is for the Visa Processing amounting to C$1100 for me and my wife:)

Pay it now. Don't wait for them to send you an email to pay it.

Your sponsor already submitted settlement plan 2? If yes...next step is to wait approximately 3-4 mos. your sponsor will be interviewed and after a month letter of approval. After receiving your loa you will be instructed to apply for permanent resident visa and after submitting you will wait for 2mos AOR again.

Thanks ohanne, appreciate it! :)

I have another query, my current occupation is not regulated in Winnipeg but has been in this field for more than 8 years. Does this mean I have a least chance to be nominated or approved?

Also, I have a masters in education, but I have no experience in teaching. Is it advisable that I put this as part of my settlement plan or I should just stick to my current occupation?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Hi Forever Victory,

Yes please email them and upload any proof of receipt or schedule for your examination. Then let them know that you can provide the IELTS result as soon as the mail result will be available.

Don't worry too much usually the timeline for sponsor's interview is around 4-5 mos.
At least if you email them letting know that your IELTS will be on its way, they might consider waiting for the result.

Good Luck on your IELTS exam, AIM high scores as it will be beneficial on your application (In my personal opinion). It will add pull up your scores in eligibility.

my current work is also not regulated in canada but we received approval. i think they look at your work experiences or history.

about your masters, well for us my husband being the applicant, he's not practicing his degree because we have our own business to attend to.

Hi guys, I am new to this forum. I am currently waiting for my LOA and praying for a positive result. :)

you have to share your timeline first because different streams means different lead time.

But if you are applying as GS , before you get your LOA, you need to submit first the document. After submission, you need to wait for around 8-12months before sponsor interview. The interview might be for the sponsor only or principal applicant+sponsor or worst is principal applicant+sponsor+ secondary sponsor.

For my experience, I submitted my docs last June 2012, then I got my LOA only last April 2013. My principal sponsor is the only one interviewed.

Hi guys!!!! Im planning on submitting my online application this Oct 2013 after the IELTS result. My sponsor will be my sister in-law.
My question is what stream will my application be categorized???

Can you pls, enumerate the processes, begining with:

1. Online Application:
2. ?
3. ?
4. ?
5. ?
6. ?
7. and so on....

Highly appreciate your response on these matter. Thank you. ;) :)
