MPNP program officer called my sponsor,
Interview was quite smooth,
They ask my sponsor about 2 issues,
Well it will take some time to resolve them.
Not so much hard, but i wasn't expecting this.

HI I just want to ask, can I submit the settlement plan 2 in behalf of my sponsor? She doesnt have a printer/scanner (the sponsor is kinda old that's why she is not so techy) our plan is my friend will print it and send it to her to fill up then my friend will scan it and send it to me...

or... can we just send it to the MPNP office just like in the instruction in the settlement plan 2?


Can I submit my application without settlement plan 2? To follow settlement plan 2? Thanks!

Hi Everyone,

May I request for the advise of people who have the same experience as mine.

I applied last June 11, 2013 under friend endorsement. I submitted English certification from my primary, secondary, tertiary education including my work. The reason why I did not include IELTS is because there was a clause in the MPNP website during the time of my application saying that applicants have the option to provide certification as proof of English proficiency.

When I visited the website recently, the said policy which I mentioned above is no longer included, but instead, they would require all applicants to submit an English test result especially applicants not currently working in Manitoba in NOC 0, A and B type of work.

My question now is, will they assess my application based on the program criteria published at the time of my application, or will they assess my application based on the new criteria. Also, can I still take the IELTS test this October and submit the result to them as soon as I get it, or should I wait for the advise of the MPNP Officer to tell me to submit additional / lacking documents.

Your advise will be highly appreciated.

I read from other forum that even 2012 applicants assessed in 2013 are required to submit IELTS.
Better submit the IELTS before they review your application. IELTS may help you bring up your points for eligibility.
Some other applicants receive ineligibility letter because of lacking IELTS. Some applicants are requested to submit IELTS.
Better safe than sorry!

Email MPNP and include your File # together with your IELTS result.

After filling up the online application and everything is uploaded and you will be allowed to submit. A question
Will pop out and will ask you if you want the sp2 form to be e-mailed to your sponsor. Your sponsor will be inform about your application. You mentioned you have a friend who can help your sponsor ask yor friend to check the e mail have it print, fill it up and have it scanned using the same email add and send it. You have to give them your sponsors e mail address. What i know is that everything is being done online already.

thanks Ohanne for the info. I remember what I did was to click the link (email the sp2 to sponsor)I havent submitted my application yet, do you think I can do the submission even if Im still waiting for my sponsor to finish SP2? Thanks!

Yes usually SP2 will be submitted after you submit yor app...good luck!
