these express entry are not just for contract workers but also people with urgent family emergencies... do u have an emergency that your wife needs to be here asap?? also for a guy living here for 30 years in canada you should somewhat know that canada lives off its tax payers money, like a natural resource lol.. for an entrepreneur person who has a business, why not travel and visit your wife? and you say you want to pay double the tax? go buy a plane ticket asap you seem so desperate. just like the rest of us here wish we're like you with deep pockets and visit our families/spouse anytime we please.
I think he is "forced" to live in US with his wife because of some unpleasant experience at the border.
They didn't want to attempt crossing the border until she gets her COPR.
So everyday for them is a torture... cos of the unprepared situation.
If they were more prepared, they could avoid this. And waiting in Canada for the process would be less stressful for them.
Anyway, I don't think any PR is getting approved in days. (14 days were work permit... I believe)
Sometimes hiring more worker may not speed up applications. e.g. waiting for another country for security information of that person and their family. We got ours approved in almost 2 years back then. Luckily, my hubby applied inside and we just waited without leaving the country.
