Why don't they hire more people to handle immigration cases?

Only the government would have official numbers. All I can do is guess. The money would actually come from the extra taxes paid by the spouses that arrive early. They could also have an option for express processing if you pay extra. It boggles my mind that anyone is saying that they should not hire more officers! There is plenty of money to pay for it and it would be great for the economy.
If I were you, I'd be focusing your attention on a sense of gratitude that you have the opportunity to be reunited with your spouse in one of the best countries in the world. We have a system in place that undoubtedly has its' issues but overall is relatively efficient compared to other countries. You seem to think there's plenty of money - there isn't. That isn't how it works. They don't have a massive reserve set aside for immigration purposes. Learn about the system a bit more before you come out with posts like this.

Huh? My spouse has the legal RIGHT to move to Canada to be with me. If only they would process the application faster.

You clearly don't understand economics. Yes there is plenty of money from taxes, application fees, and more to pay for 1000's of extra officers.

It's really beyond me how anyone can argue against hiring more immigration officers, but no you'e right, let's just keep people suffering and keep the system the same with all it's flaws! That's clearly what you are advocating for. Sheesh!

Your spouse does not have the LEGAL right to move to Canada. Your spouse is not Canadian yet. You keep insisting this point. This is completely incorrect.

I disagree. Any spouse of a Canadian citizen has the legal right to move provided they meet the requirements. All of you are absolutely heartless. Is this how you treat future Canadians? WOW is all I have to say.

Actually, she doesn't have the legal right. You're assuming because you are Canadian, anyone you are married to can just show up willy-nilly. The assessment of applications is not as simple as you seem to think it is. First and foremost, IRCC's job is to ensure the security and safety of it's residents,...all of them, not just you. And that means background, security and medical checks.

You can disagree all you want but if you want to talk about actual LEGALITIES as in the LAW, then quote the Act which states that every Canadian has the human right or even just the right to have their spouse move to Canada? People are asking you about numbers and you don’t have them. Now do you have the law?

Only CANADIANS have the legal right to move to Canada. You as a Canadian have the option to sponsor your spouse but your spouse has no right whatsoever to live in Canada while a foreigner even if married to a Canadian.

Right, the law states that any Canadian can have their spouse move to Canada, provided they meet the requirements. This is called a right, not a privilege. Not sure how you aren't getting this...

I think anyone in this forum should already know the requirements. It is not a "privilege" to move to Canada to be with your Canadian spouse. It is a legal right, again, provided your spouse meets the requirements.
Please quote the LAW that proves your point.

What is the Act?

What section? Subsection? Quote the ACTUAL law where you are getting this from.

Then how is it possible for IRCC to reject spousal applications and the court supports those findings? Your statement has no basis in fact.

I said if a spouse MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS. I think people in here don't even read or understand what I say....

No, your statement has NO basis in fact, logic, or reasoning. Please just stop.
