Please don't take risk, just go for medical. becoz ur medical is already initiated, but I don't know why u haven't got email. may be there was some technical problem. medical has 30days validity, so don't waste time book appointment for ur medical asap. It will also save ur time and will keep u on safe side.

I second what ricky said earlier, weljilu sometimes there is a system error too in CIC. How come your lawyer did not see medical in process. Please call any panel physician doctor and ask for an appointment and tell them your assport number they will able to see your IME number in their system. Do not waste further time call now. My lawyer said he has red the notes many times and did not see any problem. But I think the "Medical in Progress" never drove him any attention. Maybe he thinks it means nothing.

So he send the case processing centre an email at the beginning of this month but there is no reply at all. The automatic response says will be replied within 20 working days. But who knows....

I still have 2 questions here,

1. I don't really understand how the MR works. Like alijumani said I should call a physician and tell them my passport number so they will tell me my MR number. Does this mean if my MR was approved, the immigration office will send the physician my IME number? So the physician will have my number in their system?

2. Does anyone think maybe I should call the immigration office and find out what is going on? Are they able to tell me whether the MR has been sent or not?

You can go to an eMedical enabled clinic. Just tell them your name and passport number, and they should be able to find you in the online system, IF a medical request has been issued to you.

Sorry Rosticraphel，I mean why they put you for second review. My problem is my supervisor forget to date the employment letter.

I did not submit my Japanese pcc as it was just two days less in 6 months... So they asked my PCC on Nov 3 ... Which is submit on time.. Along with background check..

Stay put... We are the next in line..

My case was received March 31,2014 and FN was issued April 25 2014.
It's over 13 month waiting for ME as of FN.

No any files requested from CIC, but I revised several times reference letter and submit either my publications
The reason for second review is because one reviewer thinks the duties are too generic and partly meet NOC selected and also another NOC, which led me to apply for the change of NOC, I hope it's helpful but not so sure.

You should receive your ME soon.

Any new mr came out recently? I applied in March and got file number in April. Nothing from CIC yet.

Today morning i called CIC and asked for the status of my file. He did not mention anything about second review or anything but he said my file is in process and right now background check is going on .

I don't know what that's mean?

Please help me out with this. Is background check is last step and I passed eligibility or not?

apply for gcms notes and you will get to know everything on your file.

I applied and got it last month it was saying about second review .
But the agent at CIC did not mentioned anything about second review or anything else


Before this I got reply like its in queue for second review but today different answer.

This is the standard response with call center agent will say. ask s/he when was your file last updated and what has been updated. also you can check is there any out going message in your file to make sure you have not missed any communication from CIC.
