This is latest news from CIC:

"Please note that your application is currently in queue for review by an officer which explains

why you haven’t received any correspondence from our office."

Does anyone know how long it still need for next step?

If cic requested medicals then does it mean Eligibility is passed

I guess it is for most cases, but not 100% guarantee.
I heard one guy having ME but rejected because of final examination of eligibility.

Hi I am July applicant, my application was recieved on July 8th.

My Lawyer just followed up with CIC, and received below email. I was a bit worried, because most of the applicants whose application received before July 15th got MR's.

Dear Sir/Madam,

Thank you for your email.

The processing of your file is following its due course.

No action or document is needed from you at this present time and while we process applications as expeditiously as possible, each application is unique and we are unable to guarantee a specific time frame for its completion.

No further action is required on your part at this time. We do not require any information from you at the present time. An officer will contact you if further information is required. Please ensure when submitting documents that they are still valid and will not expire within 6 months as this could delay your application.

We appreciate your patience and ask that you keep correspondence with our office to a minimum. In order to process requests efficiently, we will not be responding to duplicate requests.

Or any website(link) for the list of doctors.

Please and Thanks,

If I am not wrong , yours was already under second review and hence you passed eligibility as senior VO reviewed your application

I am not sure if any doctor here in Vancouver will do Upfront Medical as to book an appointment they all ask for IME number in the form CEC sends in Medical request email.

Thanks a lot for the information Pwadhwani.

I see many cases, they get pre medicals and send the report to CIC. Not sure how they get their medicals done before CIC requests.

Thanks once again.

Mahesh

Hey Guys,

Wondering if there is anyone whose second review "due date" has passed with no communication from CIC? Mine was last Friday, and no updates on my application.... sigh
