@ MrNobody, What it has anything do to with married sponsor? My wife is not a co-singer. My income is way above the line so I don't think it matter.
I see the approval for 2016 and only few single parents approved but most of them are mom+dad. There are lots of Single parents in 2016 which is not approved too.

@ kiwi2016, I will go to local MP next week after I get GCMS note so I get more evidence that nothing going on on my file. Thank you very much for the support and suggestion.

Good day all
This is great thread I have been following, would definitely contribute. Below is my info a question I have. Thanks in advance.

I applied for PGP in Jan 2014
Application received my CIC, Jan 7 2014
My CC was charged in same year, and I received a letter of Ack as well.
Now it says they started processing on my parents file on March 8, 2016.
Today status is updated to that they have sent me a letter on June 6 consider delay in delivery.

I am anxious what could it be in the letter? Any hint?

Sorry if I have replied to someone in the thread, I couldn't find how to start my new or how it works.

It can be an Additional Document Request or Medical/PCC Request or simply Sponsorship Approval mail. Mind you, the mail could either come to your address or your parents' home address.

BTW, feel free to join 2014 PGP Timeline spreadsheet. Add yourself using "Add Entry" sheet with specific (best remembered) dates.

Sponsorship approval can also come to the parents address?

Hi...I'm in the same boat as you. My application was received on Jan 16 2014, I got the confirmation email in June 2014. My online status is STILL application received. No update...! :(
I don't think this is fair! By processing files in 2015, 2016 for SA, these parents would most likely become PRs way before some 2014 sponsorship files.

No excuses should be given. IRCC might argue this would help clear the backlog sooner but they must at least try their best to stick with the first in first out basis. I don't know of any other immigration system that runs this way. It makes people anxious and depressed all the time until the end.

Thanks Rossei! And Thanks to others who replied.
My parents coming here next month on TRV. As far as I know there is no such thing in India "Mail forwarding" if the letter goes there. What could I do to make sure I get it here. In original app I have listed my address as sponsor and all communication to be sent to me if they do that? I will add to the timesheet today.

I applied my parents on January 7, 2014. And received in process on March 2016. I called hundreds of time and finally went through yesterday and was told my file is behind. The representative put a note on it. It's definitely unfair for 2014. Is there any way that we could ask them to speed up? And also what's the GCMS note for? If I want to change parents address, where should I change it? As I only saw change address for sponsor but no place to show change address for applicant. Thanks

I changed mine and my mum's address online at the sponsorship stage. My mum's coming over on a supervise next week so it made sense. BUT, Ottawa where her files been transferred to, still had her old address, so they updated it to the new ne as well, here in Canada. They also said that everything was fine and if anything further was required that any further communication will be sent to that address... so I assume it won't be coming via email... hhmmm Also, we haven't done any police checks, so there has to be more communication me thinks.... (she did a medical in September for her supervisa so that's still valid)

Anywho, I hope that helps, you can change address online for sponsorship, but be careful that your LVO has the change of address as well!

AND, it is unfair! There's no justification for 2015/2016 going before us, I'm with you guys on that...we could all sign a petition like 2011 are, but I really see no point in that... contact your local MP's guys to contact CIC on your behalf... that's the best suggestion I have.... Good luck all!

How to change address on line? I only have case number which is my sponsorship address? Maybe I choose the wrong one, but that's the only number I have. Where I can find my parents UIC number? Thanks

I have the application No. that starts with "F", I've been using that the whole time when logging in, it's the only number I have and where I went to change address it said change just your address, or change both yours and the parents address...
