Congratulations... that was turbo... file was submitted on Jan 3, 2014 and by June 9, 2016 passports were requested for PR printing... very encouraging... you must be so happy for this achievement
Congrats I believe you have probably set a new record for the fastest parent application processing time during the last decade.pasponsor said:I would like to happily share that my parents got their request to submit their passports for PR printing! their application was approved today!
This is so encouraging and positive news for rest of us waiting. Do you mind telling us your LVO?Early Bird said:Congratulations... that was turbo... file was submitted on Jan 3, 2014 and by June 9, 2016 passports were requested for PR printing... very encouraging... you must be so happy for this achievement
Thank you for the update, would you mind sharing the exact timelines since you applied, file transferred and what was requested on the way, medical, other forms? Were you able to communicate with them via email?pasponsor said:Thanks everyone. Office was Tel-Aviv. They were very efficient with the process and very responsive.
I am also in the same boat. Application received on Jan 3rd and no update in last 2 years. They did not ask for any doc. I have to wait one more week for my GCMS note.avn said:Has anyone else not received anything? My application was received January 3, 2014 and I had to redue schedule A. Since then (feb) I've heard nothing .
Can you contact your MP? 2015 applications are being approved, so this seems completely unfair... I understand how we snuck in front of 2011 with our complete applications, but there's no reason for 2015 to go before 2014! Contact your MP... mine is fantastic, and it's the only way to get a real answer.....RoyalNS said:I am also in the same boat. Application received on Jan 3rd and no update in last 2 years. I'm in the same boat too. No update in 2 years. My online status is still "application received". GCMS notes implied our application had barely been touched (a month back)...I'll ask for an updated version in another month or so...maybe then they will shed some light!?kiwi2016 said:Can you contact your MP? 2015 applications are being approved, so this seems completely unfair... I think the easiest cases are getting sent to the front of the line. This would make sense, and should really be the way files are processed. It makes no sense to wait until 100% of 2014 files are approved/rejected for SA before work starts on 2015 if many applications require a lot of additional verification. If we want to cut down the average processing time, it would be best for CIC to work in parallel on all applications within their assigned capacity.RoyalNS said:I just do not understand how come 2015 and 2016 file process before 2014 when the rules and conditions are same. Before 2011 ppl used to apply for siblings and after they increase the minimum income ppl now only can afford parents only and file are so simple. If there are any paper missing or they request for addition paper, I understand the process time is longer but still do not make any sense that even 2016 ppl file getting transfer and no word from CIC about most of our 2014 files. I really feel for 2011 guys now and kind of agree to go to media and screw others files too when my own file is stuck. This is BS. I will wait for one more week for my GCMS note and then My MP is going to get a very angry letter from me if I do not see any progress.
% of applications that have been approved for sponsorship 35.29% (2014)
% of applications that have been approved for sponsorship 26.97% (2015)
% of applications that have been approved for sponsorship 6.42% (2016)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Single parents file go faster and I do not have problem with that at all. More complex file with more depended will take longer and this is normal but if you apply for you mom+dad only and you even do not have siblings then how complex this file can be? How come 2016 file already transfer to LVO? How easy are those files?MrNobody said:I think the easiest cases are getting sent to the front of the line. I'm guessing the priority might be as follows:RoyalNS said:Single parents file go faster and I do not have problem with that at all.
