when exactly do we send the proof of our relationship???

hi my wife will soon be applying for me..we got married few months ago and hv been dating since 2009...i wanna know in which stage of process do v send the proof? stage one where chc.m will determine if she can sponsor or wen the file reaches to my countries visa office ?

Send the complete package to Mississauga including your proof, because all of that will be looked over by the workers in Mississauga to see that you have filled out the forms correctly and added the mandatory supporting documents, and if approved, they will send it to the visa office responsible for your country where they will in detail look at your application and relationship proof

Edit: I forgot to add that you can always send more proof of relationship to them while your application is being processed as well

I would take your time and gather as much evidence as you possibly can and send it with your application.

I agree with the above post, its basically what I told you on the other thread:

You send everything together to CPC-M then the file is tranfered to Pakistan and since it is taking a long time to process in Islamabad, you can send more/updated proofs after about 7-9 months later and also any other time if you want there is no policy or rule as to when you can send them, except I suggest you send them once the file reaches Islamabad.

I understand your feelings! All of us on the Islamabad thread are going through the long waits. I myself have applied for my wife in January 2010 and still no VISA


Do you not have the following since you have been dating since 2009?

phone call log history, emails (inbox snapshots), proof of visiting your spouse, air tickets, boarding passes, passport stamps, money transfer receipts, if so include them in your package and send the updated once to Islamabad after about 8 months.

I also suggest like the above post to take your time, it actually took me a few months to gather everything and make sure I had everything together because I didn't want to take chances, I don't wish to wait so long for my husband. If you take your time you won't miss something, and they won't ask you for additional documents later on (which also just makes the process longer for you).. Include as much proof as you can, if you don't have a lot, then I also suggest sending whatever you can get later on as well

heres da problem
i was in toronto as a refugee claimant.i failed da case and return to pakistan 2 months ago...
me and wife been together since 2009 but unfortunatly hv only have 2 or 3 pics from 2009 summers and hv a lot from 2010 and 2011..which also include her and my frnds...
2ndly v dont hv a chat records to prove our 2 yrs of realtionship....v do have phone records which goes back to 2009
but da problem wid it is...my fone was under my frnds name... as i had a bad credit so i wasnt allowed to get a contract... my frnd has wrote a informal letter stating dat i used this account of his.
other den dat v can get all r frnds 2 write a affadivt saying de know us as a couple from past 2 yrs...
dats all v have to prove r relationship is 2 yrs old b4 marrying ech oda
before coming to pakistan v got married so v also have wedding pics to prove dat... i also have a greeting card congratulation me and my wife from my parents...which has an envelop also stating it came from Dubai where my parents r .... i also have screen shots, chat logs, her fone bills, western union recipts..from past 2 months since i moved to pakistan..but it only shows 2 months record...
do u guys think i shud send it all... and is it enuf for now ?

Since you have been to Canada, when they check your history they can see anything and everything about you! I am not sure if they purposely check the credit history but if anything is red flaged then it will show up in their system!

well im also providing dem wid police clearance of canada...and da last one i checked it was clean...i hv criminal record or nethin...yes i do hv a bad credit thou..still hv to pay sm amount to visa ppl...other den dat i was clean...wud dis affect my application ?

I am not sure how much a credit history can effect your application, some one else might be able to answer you better on the credit history issue, but I know if you don't have any criminal records then you shouldn't have any problems in the background check...

Nope that shouldn't have any effect, however if she would've changed then that's a strong evidence of being in a genuine relationship. So there is something to consider!

well things r goin so fast dat she is worried to change it now...but later in future she will forsure change it...she is a live-in caregiver and is going to apply for her pr and put as her dependant...if she change her name now it will be hard for her to change da name in all her documents...one more i need to ask...v got married jus a week b4 i was leaving would dat smhow effect ? v have been together for 2years and 3 months ... dats y im tryin to gather all da evidence of past 2 yrs ... orelse da immigration wud think its a marriage of convenice...which it is not at all ... we love each oda and hv been in relationship since january of 2009...but the sad part is we dont really hv enuf proof....
bdw wud de accept my fone bills which i mentioned b4 as its not under my name ?
