What will be the living expense for a month in Canada? How much we can save from our off campus jobs???

First of all don't depend on On campus job. I have heard its very difficult to get. Next it depends on accommodation. If shared accommodation and normal amount of money spent in food and other stuff then per month you ll be spending around 600$ to 800$(sometimes depends on province and that's why am including a range) . And if you get a on campus job and able to make 600-800 bucks then you wont be spending anything from your bank for your living expenses.

Hello Saddy,

This question needs bit more information before it can be answered such as, 1. your location in Canada, College/Uni. For example, if you are going to Windsor, you can have an apartment as cheap as 250 CAD$ a month with only first and last month advance (means two months advance only) and if you are going to Brampton, you may find an apartment for 400 to 600 CAD$. Also depends on your choice of residence and style - such as if you are looking for studio apartment and wants not to share it with anyone etc etc. On Campus jobs are hard to get, however you mentioned OCWP (off campus) which is not hard to find ( not at least the blue color jobs as we call them) which can fetch you anything between 10CAD to 14 CAD an hour. However, after you complete actual study of 6 months, you become eligible for OCWP and that too only for 20 hours a week (legally).

Hope it helps.

Cheers!
