Hi , do we really need to send all these docs. As per my knowledge since May 2014 CIC advises you not to send the RCMP report if you are authorizing them to get one themselves .Secondly the translated visa stamps and boarding passes will be required but only at the time of interview/test .

Please correct me if I am wrong .

thanks
you are right. Some people like to send more documents and some say send what they asked only.

I don't know much about the RCMP report thing - I did not submit it. There is no harm in submitting the translated stamps + boarding passes with the application. You can bring the originals to the interview. But if you want to wait until the test, it's up to you. I submitted the following with my application:

1. boarding passes - to help corroborate my absences on the residency calculator

2. T4s - to help show I was employed. Plus they also had my addresses which helped confirm what was in the application.

3. employment letter, job description, recent paystub - the job description was to show that my job needed me to be physicially present.

I think it helped b/c I applied in May and wrote the test in August; the officer had no concerns and I'm waiting for oath ceremony now.

Sorry I mistook it for CBSA record history ,which is mentioned in the form (Q 9D) .Not very sure about RCMP records ,however the RCMP checks are part of the background checks by CIC .

If you lived with your cousin from Oct 2011 to Mar 2012, your T4 would still show your cousin's address because T4 was issued in Feb 2012 and you were still at your counsin's.
So in the address field, Oct 2011 - Mar 2012 - put your cousin's address
April 2012 to ___ - put your own address and explain in a cover letter.
