Am also confused on the whole process. I applied for assessment in February and to date My account says Pending ... on follow up, this is what I received/..

'Thank you for choosing World Education Services (WES).
After a review of your documents it has been determined that additional research is required. Your file is currently under review; please continue to check online for all current updates.
Best Regards,'

I am not clear as to what research that would take many months. Anyone with clue on this process?

Just wondering is there any chance that I don’t get a Canada equivalent Masters ECA report?? If so then I’d better start working on ECA for my Bachelors degree (and my husband’s)

Your MA could be considered as a PGDM or a Masters, we'll have to wait for the evaluation to complete.

Why wouldn't you get an equivalence? Everyone gets some equivalency unless it's from an un-recognised university/college.

The message was self-explanatory, that they require some additional research to determine your equivalency and you'll have to check online for updates. You could write them an email every week or so for an update or call them if you'd like.

No.. I meant if my MA is not assessed as a Masters degree but a PGDM then I cannot get the CRS score for Masters degree. If it does happen then I would have to get ECA for my Bachelors degree so as to get score as “two or more certificates”... which means an extra 2 months wait

Hi Everyone, I was trying to do ECA of my docs from WES but I am confused how my documents will be sent to WES, is it from me or University itself.. How to do it?

Does my passing Division matters or as along as I pass and gets the certificate should be ok ?
Nope, your division does not matter as long as your education is complete and you have passed all exams for immigration purposes. It would matter if you had opted for Course by Course or Document by Document evaluation for Education or Employment.

Yes, true. You should had got your Masters and Bachelors evaluated in the same WES application.

15 minutes of waiting time is a short waiting time, I, once, had to wait for 30 something minutes.

WES can take around 45 days to accept your documents. It is very normal for them to give an update after a month and a few days. Verification of Asian institutes have become stricter recently due to increase in forged documents.
Except the issue is that I don't have a degree from an Asian institute. My husband graduated from the US and his documentation reached WES 3 days before mine. His evaluation is due tomorrow. My degree is from the UK and I don't even have an update. That's what confuses me.

The WES representative was also concerned that I haven't received an update in close to a month. She took down my number and said her supervisor would call me before Friday. Let's see what happens.

My timeline:
Documents received by WES: May 1st; Status: Documents received, application under review
2nd update: June 2nd; Status: Documents received, application under review
3rd Update: June 3rd: Status: Your evaluation is in progress. You are not required to do anything at this time. Your evaluation is due for completion on 6/21/2019
They received my docs on May 1st as well. Sadly though, I haven't received an update.

You should put in a query requesting an update on your status via their contact form. I don't trust WES call reps, they always gave a generic reply to me while promising an update or a call back in few days, but never did, it was only after, when i had requested for an update through their contact form, I had got one.
