I think you should better check with Wes. Call them up and ask whether they evaluate degrees from IIT.
I know it’s weird as IIT B is one of the most prestigious institutes of our country and we are reallly proud about it but still just call them up.
Actually it happened with PTU that they stopped evaluating degrees and was no more mentioned in the tool
Hi guys, got my ECA pdf copy in email today (ie 3 days prior to due date)
Here's the timeline
14 Sep: Documents delivered by fedex.Signed by E Maple.
19 Sep: Documents received,under review.
22 Sep: Documents recieved, under review.
4th Oct: Documents accepted. Evaluation under review. (Due for completion on 25 oct)
22nd Oct: Your evaluation report is completed and the PDF is being processed
22nd Oct: Evaluation completed. Report sent.

Can someone shed more light on how this will impact us:
"Please note that due to the labour disruption in Canada Post, there will be delays in the delivery of reports for applicants who have selected the regular post delivery method. This delay affects only regular mail to be delivered to Canadian addresses. Courier services within Canada will still be available. If you need your report immediately, you can modify your order and select Courier service for an additional fee. We will resume sending reports as soon as possible.
Likewise, please note that delivery of documents to WES may also be affected during this time. Once regular post service resumes, we will process documents in the order they are received. We will update your status when your documents are received."

If you're sending documents via post then it may affect your delivery timings but if you are using courier then don't worry about it.
Hey... Any update regarding ur on hold status!!!That is the foremost thing on my agenda now. However I called PU guys on Monday and even I couldn’t understand how in the name of God they answered my call. That guy said that they have already replied to WES via e-mail.
Only God knows what is going on.
I tell you guys, WES is losing its credibility hard these days. Even their advisors on Twitter and those answering calls don’t know what’s happening with our applications. They are giving stupid generic responses:
We’ll update your status when we receive verification from your institution, We’ll update when we process new documents, and bla, bla, bla, ...........
Not ready to tell whether they have received anything from PU or not.
No update. Still on hold.
But I visited PU yesterday. They had not sent any reply to WES. The guy there checked on computer and afterwards noted my name and WES reference number in a register and said that he would do it after 5 pm.
I think you too should visit soon otherwise they are not going to do it. So go there and ask them to do it.

If you haven’t received your completion date of evaluation till yet, then I think that it may be a technical glitch that your status is showing in progress and I think PU hasn’t replied back.
So I say you also should visit PU soon as I have seen yesterday that they are not going to reply until you ask them to do it personally.

A clear legible copy of Original Degree certificate. Get a transcript from your college, which should be signed by the registrar of the college and they should also give you an envelope with college seal on the closing leaf. You can ask the college to send it directly to WES, but the safer thing would be to collect the transcript yourself. Take a bigger envelope - keep the copy of your degree certificate and the sealed transcript envelope in the bigger envelope. Now you may create an account on WES and pay the fee to get the application number. Write the application number on both the envelopes (this is the most important detail, coz if this is not done right you may have to go through the whole cycle again!)
