Also anyone with MBA from ICFAI university Dehradun got an evaluation report recently? If yes, did they evaluate it as Masters ?

I know someone who got his ECA today and they evaluated as Diploma and not masters.

It’s strange that one of his batchmate’s eca evaluated as Masters (Although it was not recently)

Wondering on what basis they evaluate and what got changed recently.

I also hold a 2 year MBA degree from FMS Delhi, and I last week that my verification was put on hold. The email that I got from WES is "This is to advise you that photocopies of your documents have been sent to University of Delhi for verification and that your file has been placed on hold until we receive their written response"

I do not know if WES has sent the photocopies over snail mail, or email. Worse, I do not know to whom it has been sent, or if anyone's looking into it. Do you have any suggestions on what to do? I would be highly thankful for your help.

Your institute will get both email and snail mail from WES. It is easier to reply on the email as the verification process is much faster and easier to track. You should get in touch with the department at FMS/DU from where you had got the transcripts in the first place and ask them if they received any email from WES. For few of us, WES sent the email to the first visible/available email ID on the institute website (e.g. in my case, it was institute director ID). You can find that out from FMS/DU website and enquire with them if they received any email.
Once you can track it, ask them to reply to the WES email ID which will be mentioned in their email body, explicitly mentioning the 10-digit verification reference no. provided by WES and mentioning that they are authenticating the attached transcripts as genuine.

Will request others, especially newer members on the forum, to not misguide without knowing the required information.

I got my Eca report finally but it states
Bachelors degree four years and one year diploma for my mba I have done it from BIMTECH greater noida,

however I have checked with my batch mate he had got his evaluation done last year and he got an mba equivalence

Is there anybody who is in a similar situation

Please help

Second mail for verification recieved on 22nd June
Replied on 25th June
Status changed to due for completion 26th June
Report issued 2nd July

Hello Members,
Need help from folks who might have faced this weird situation from WES. My account report was going to be completed on 6/15 next week. All of a sudden the status changed to "ON HOLD" - Need verification of documents from Issuing Institution. This is so Bizarre request to again verify documents from the same institution that provided the documents. I do not understand what is their intention here. Looks like they just want to delay the matter.
Anyone faced this situation please help.

You will have a “Verification” status in My Account when:

• The documents received from the applicant differ from the documents WES has received from the same institution or system of education.
• The documents received were sent from a certain country, institution, or during a particular situation where the authenticity of the documents or institution must be confirmed.

During this time, WES will send your documents to the issuing institution or authority for verification. There’s no action required by you during this process. The verification process can take up to seven weeks and depends on how quickly your institution replies to our request. If the status of your documents does not change to “Accepted” within seven weeks, please contact us and we will send a second verification request to your institution.

Although the verification process may take some time, the benefits of this process will lead to an accurate and verified WES evaluation report that is trusted and accepted by thousands of institutions in North America.

I called WES customer service, they said they have emailed my university to verify the documents. I am not sure my Pune university replies to such request.
How long will WES again take to approve and provide the ECA report after the verification has been done?

- Initially, I sent transcript (which had many errors) which I received after over 60 days. Later my status went "on hold".
- Post that I got Attestation done & sent attested documents as the transcript had errors. Again status went on hold.
- WES asked for "Verification", I went to the uni & asked them to revert on the mail, the person replied on the Transcript mail. Then WES status changed to "received docs" & few days later again "Verification" was asked & status was on hold.
- Again I went to the uni & filled forms for verification of marksheet, passing certificate & convocation. Got the sealed envelope from the uni (2 envelopes - 1. Marksheet/Passing cer., 2. Convocation) & sent to WES. The details in the envelope clearly mentions your WES ref no. & that your documents are verified.
- I sent the envelopes to WES, status changed to "Docs received", again yesterday WES put my account "on hold" ---- reason - Awaiting verification.

After sharing the required written response via post & they receiving the doc as well, what is WES expecting?

1) Your institute needs to verify the authenticity of the document that WES has received. You dont need to send transcripts again - That wont solve the issue

2) You need to figure out on which email id/ postal address they have send the verification email or documents. The email/postal documents has a unique reference number ( the number is different from the one you have) and the institute needs to reply to WES in a proper format quoting that unique reference number and certifying the authenticity of transcripts. Once that is done you will get out of Hold

To summarize - find out whether your institute has got that communication from WES and then follow as per point 2. If your institute has not received the communication from WES then request WES to send the same to the right person (email id) through contact us page on WES.
