Hi . I already waited for 2 weeks now but no clear picture. Who and how this will happen. Totally confused
WES does not evaluate Study from Punjab Technical University

I too got an update on my application status today and it is also on hold as it states that "Waiting for IKGPTU to verify marksheets". I don't think that the university is going to reply to WES any sooner as the same thing happened with me 4, 5 months back wherein WES had kept the status of my Master degree evaluation done from "Bangalore university" on hold due to the document verification. At that time also the status was "Waiting for university to verify the documents" I got a mail that time from WES that there is nothing for me to do in such case as they have directly contacted my university and is awaiting revert from them.
My status was on hold for more than 2 months and the university didnot even bother to reply to WES.
Finally i had to go to university several times back n forth to get an update, explained them the whole issue multiple times and the strange part was that the university people didnt even read the mail which was sent by WES twice asking for verification. Lastly they asked me to pay the verification fee post which they finally replied to WES.
The worst part is that if i wouldn't have gone to the university multiple times just to check on the status, these guys wouldn't have bothered to reply to WES and my application could have been on hold for an year or more.
Now i really hope that this should not be the case with PTU and these guys should respond to WES Asap.
Let me know if you get any further clarity on the issues as to what needs to be done. "Do we need to visit the university or do we need to pay any kind of verification fee to the university or something else"
I would really appreciate any help or guidance pertaining to the matter.

Please check the link "http://support.ptu.ac.in/docsverification.aspx" by PTU. They are giving an option to verify available transcripts issued by them to WES / candidates. If your document is not listed you need to send them an email giving the details.
I am not sure of the above but this is what I understand from "https://www.ptu.ac.in/Upload/NoticeBoard/Online_Check_on_Education_Credentials.pdf" this document.
If anybody has any information on this please confirm.

Did anyone approached PTU for the verfication of mark sheets issue. I requested to verify them in my transcript request and after waiting for a week they asked me to raise another query under attestation of mark sheets option. It doesn't make any sense.

Same for me. They are asking me to raise a fresh request for Attestation of DMC and Degree Certificate. The fee for this is Rs 3500/- which includes 1500/- as postage charges. I don't understand why they are asking for this as my documents are already accepted at WES, there is no need to send them again. They only need to upload this on there support link.
Don't know how to proceed further. No body is picking the phone at Transcripts section.

That is a preposterously foolish thing to pay again. WES clearly says documents accepted.
BTW, how did you communicate with them? Did you receive an email saying to raise the request?
I suspect university might be closed for holidays if they are not picking the phone, not sure though.
I reopened my existing query raised for applying transcripts. They said to raise a fresh request.
No the university is open as I am able to talk to them on there toll free number, but the lady sitting there says that she cannot help with this and you need to directly call the concerned department for the same, But nobody is picking the phone in the department.
Same for me. PTU is unnecessarily delaying the process. Could you please share the Transcript dept phone no.
Shall we try to tweet them? Because as far as I can see there's no one in PTU aware about the process. Toll-free dept, and even people who are handling student support requests.
