WES does not evaluate Study from Punjab Technical University

Has anyone managed to send the documents without the attested form from college.
Has anyone came across the situation where they are unable to get the attested WES form from their college ? anyone living outside India, any recommendation?

I don't think so they'll clear it. You can always send a Fax/Email to your College and ask them to attest and send a copy of the same to you over email and keeping original with them. You just need a Soft Copy. You may always reach out to your Ex-Profs for assistance.

My Initial WES was finished and i applied to upgrade my report to Course by Course which unfortunately got cancelled due to PTU issue, Now the issued is resolved and i reapplied for same and got below response from WES, I am now totally confused that do i need to proceed something from my side for this action item number 2 or wes itself will do this with my university, Thanks in advance.

Thanks a lot for your response. But we are not sure what we need to do, even I tried to approach university but there is no any response. Please can one help us with regards to this matter because our precious time is getting wasted and if any action we need to take then we can take else we can push our university if any action from their side need to take.

As of Dec 1st, 2018, WES only accepts transcripts sent directly from the University to WES and NOT through any third party including the applicant. So be very careful and request your university to mail WES the required transcripts. Good luck.

Yes, but because the status is "Waiting for verification", it is very likely docs were sent before Dec 1.

WES didn't even accept my Statement of Marks, reason they said its not sent directly from University but in fact they were and accepted before all the issues started, as well as same status as yours, Waiting for IKGPTU to verify mark sheets, Bachelor of Technology. I think they are confusing all old applications with new rules. According to their website the new rules doesn't apply to us. I have generated a query regarding this, waiting for their response. I will keep posting here as soon as I get a response. Hopefully this gets sorted out soon enough for all of us waiting from a long time.

Yes my initial Wes is already completed and I got the report too. But unfortunately PTU issue came in between my 2nd application and after it got resolved I raised again application with WES And they given this response. Now did they already sent verification email to my university or how this verification will be done . Totally confused

So I got a response from the query I raised. WES says that they have asked for verification from university, of the documents they have. I asked if I need to do anything, to which they replied that I need not do anything and just wait. I believe the application will move forward once they receive response from university.

Sure thing!

They did not mention anything, but there was a recent news that PTU had to create a portal for WES verification. I think the best course of action would be to wait for a week. If you have a contact in university, please do contact.

Do I have to attest the WES request form from the college as well. Right now I am in Delhi & my college is in Jalandhar, so i have to visit my college first & get the WES form attested from them.

FYI Everyone, I spoke to one of the Senior Officials at the University. He made the most Logical Statement: Check what is required in your Case on the WES Poral/In your Account.

Transcript and DMC might mean the same thing literally, but in case of Credential Evaluation they carry different meaning:
1. Transcript: Single Document containing details of all the Subjects across all Semesters/Years.
2. DMCs - Self explanatory

I again checked my WES Account. It is explicitly mentioned in the Account:
1. Degree
2. Mark-sheets/Statement of Marks
Thus, I selected the correct option - Attestation of Degree and All DMCs with Form from WES.
Please check your Account for confirmation on what you need to send.

Personal Opinion: I don't think there is any difference in what you send. Maybe Transcript and Statement of Marks mean one and the same thing. If that's the case, you may send either of them. What WES is concerned about is to get clear, legible and authenticated details of the marks obtained by you, be it a single document, or all DMCs.
