Got mine PR in 4,5 months. It included interview too.

How much notice did the VO give you before the interview? Hubby and I wanna go on mini vacay and wouldn't want to book it and then won't be able to go if the date conflicts with the possible interview...

Ours took about 6 months total inclusive of interview...to answer above question with regards interview; my partners interview notice came 3 weeks notice...the only complicated aspect of our application process was getting the COPR back via UPS; with much screwing around took about 3 weeks to sort out because of specific complications...ours was a common law application with me the sponsor living abroad...so yes warsaw is quick...maybe they don't have too many apps???good luck to all!

Indeed that is quick.
I tried to figure out how to link my status to signature but failed :)

I'm with my wife in Poland, we applied from outside of Canada at Mississauga.

1. app filled Nov 4 2015
2. received uic # on dec 25
3. processing started Jan 16 - with letter stating that our package was sent to be embassy in Warsaw given my eligibility to sponsor
4. medical was done upfront

Since then, no news, except a refund of 550$ since we overpaid :)

I'm also sitting on needles and waiting, wondering, feeling anxious why it's taking long and why no status updates have been showing up.
Also wondering if it may take longer given that i'm out of Country rather than onsite..

But nevertheless good luck to us all! :)

I think you need to have at least 10 posts to be able to edit your details.
Have you ordered GCMS notes?

Hi guys.
I'm going to get my upfront medicals done tomorrow and hopefully will send the application within next two weeks. I've noticed not many Lithuanians are on this forum yet. :)
Our application might not be the strongest one but I hope for the best.
As I have read on this board, not all of you paid RPFR upfront - does it really slowdown the process?

I hear it does so my plan is that once my application heads off to warsaw I will pay it.

People say that you should not order the GCMS notes until really necessary as it slowes down overall process within the VO; just sayin'

There are some :) Labas Labas :)

I would recommend to pay everything upfront, as it will slow down the process. We had everything upfront: medicals, police checks, payment. So when they issued me the visa after interview I got everything right away on the spot.
Why you think it is not the strongest one?

I saw on the spreadsheet that your application went through really fast.
I've met my husband and less than a year later we decided to get married. That seemed a bit rushed for some of people we know, so I expect that VO would think the same way. Anyways, we decided to do this while I'm still in Canada so that we could start the application process as soon as possible, since we know it takes months or even years. We figured if we'll postpone it, it will add at least another year because he's still in university. And now after the marriage we got plane tickets to see each other, as our wedding gifts. :) So it seems like a good decision, so far.
Also, he hasn't met my family or friends yet, which I expect might be a little bit of a red flag.
Getting lots of photos of us together wasn't the easiest thing either. After reading that many applicants send hundreds of photos, I realized we will have maybe 20 photos in total, not counting photos that are more or less the same (from the same events, for example).
We didn't live together officially, it was more like - he stays at my house for a day, then we don't see each other for a few days (because i'm working and he's going to uni) and then whenever I have a few days off in a row, I would go to his place and stay there. On days like that you don't think 'oh we should take a picture of us together because we will need them later', you know :D
Also, we've met on a dating app. Not sure how VO would treat this fact either.

You are applying outland?
Yes, I consider myself quite lucky, as it was quite fast, but in general it takes 6-8 months for Warsaw :)

Well, if there won't be enough proof then you will probably be invited to attend the interview (Like I did), that's why it is better to have everything upfront, as on the interview day if it is successful, you will be issued landing papers on the spot.
My husband haven't met my parents before we applied too, only on the interview day and we met online and this is my second marriage and we got married quite soon after I came to Canada, so you know.. every case is different, for some people 20 pics are OK, for some 200 is not enough :) Which province you are?
If you have more questions feel free to send me a message, I will gladly help you if I can as we are from same region, but there is some stuff I don't want to share publicly :) :-X

Yes, outland. My husband lives in Saskatchewan, we'll probably gonna settle down there unless he gets a job offer somewhere else.
I might drop you a message later. :)
