OMG!! I was just checking my ECAS account this morning as usual, and suddenly there ir Decision Made sign staring at me! Still no email from my Visa Office..
I hope those are good news.. Kinda still worried a little.. :o

Isn't that the best feeling? The screen all of a sudden looks completely different from the routine status you logon and stare at every single day. I'm sure you will hear good news in the next week or so re the decision and next steps. :)

It is awesome!!! Now they have sent me an email too! Honestly, I still hardly believe that it has happened!! :D :D :D

Though now I have a few questions regarding the passport request:
1)They say to provide a photocopy of the passport and 2 photos of myself and those family members who will accompany me. Our baby girl is coming with us to Canada, but she is a Canadian Citizen. Does this requirement apply on her too?

2)They offer two ways of submitting the remaining papers from outside Canada - in person or by commercial courier ("Submit the requested items to the address of the Embassy of Canada in Warsaw (above) via a pre-paid commercial courier. We will advise you when your visa/COPR is ready so you can contact your courier with pick up instructions.")
So it means, no regular mail is accepted?

I would be so grateful if anybody can shed some light on it!! Thank you so much! :D

1) Does your little one have a Canadian Passport? If so, I don't think they will require it... though to be in the safe side... you also provide that for reference purposes.

2) I wouldn't trust regular mail, if my life depended on it. I would make sure I have confirmation of delivery and tracking numbers to ensure it is fully traceable.

The above points are my personal opinions, and do not represent any professional advice. :)

My baby has a Canadian Citizenship Certificate and a Latvian passport as she is a dual citizen. Maybe I will try email them.
Thank you!

Hey, guys!
I received a passport request email last week where they are asking me to send the copy of my passport and pics before they issue the CORP. I already arranged a courier to get my papers to Warsaw but what I find confusing is, they want me to contact my courier with pick up instructions when the CORP is done. Just called UPS and DHL. They said they don't do such pick ups..

Maybe anybody can share their experience? Can they just send it by mail then?
Thank you so much! Truly grateful! :)

I received my AOR 2 today from Warsaw :) totally wasn't expected :)

Try FedEx. I worked with FedEx before and they do pick ups, at least they did. I think the thing is, when your passport is ready embassy needs to call FedEx (or other delivery company), tell them to come pick an item and tell your client number (thats way the invoice will be send to you).

Weird! Just called FedEx.. they said they do pick ups only for Business customers who have a contract with them. Otherwise, they don't provide a customer number.
I don't know anymore.. Maybe I email the Visa Office, explaining the situation. Or maybe I can send an extra envelope with other docs (with my address and stamps on, obviously).

Anybody else wants to share their experience with getting their CORP?? :) Thank you!

I just thought. What if I take a flight to Warsaw (it's a 1h30 long flight) and return the same day back!? I know, it's kinda risky. They say, they don't promise the CORP on the same day, but I heard people get their papers done in 30 min.
Any opinion?

It might be even cheaper than paying delivery companies :)
But maybe consider staying two days? :)

I am sorry it didn't work out with FedEx, but then maybe ask in post office, it is possible they provide prepaid secured envelopes to ship items back?

One more question, do they ask passport copy or original?
