Hi. I don't quite remember the exact dates but we sent our application end of April 2020 and we received AOR end of October 2020. After that we had sponsorship approval, medical request/ approval and biometrics request all within a week or so of each other and completed by end of November, I believe. Then a few months of silence until first week of February when we received our pre-arrival letter and then a few more months of silence until we finally got passport request, about a week past the 12 month timeframe provided for processing. From the time we submitted the passport and got it back it was about 5 business days. Quite efficient. We got all our documents back and ready to go by early May and booked to leave at the end of June.Congrats! Can you share your timeline?
Hi!! I remember you. Wow you got refused too! I’m really sorry. What happened? How was your appeal process? Did you get the notice of decision from CBSA? If so, they’ve probably already sent your file to Mississauga or will do it in the next 2 weeks. The next step after that is AOR from Mississauga. Then It’s up to Mississauga to keep your file and finalize it or send it back to Warsaw. There’s also a possibility that it would be sent to another VO. At this point it’s a waiting game because Mississauga is very much backlogged. They are still processing files from 2019 and just started working on files from Jan 2020. The good thing is that they stopped receiving files after March 2020 except appealed files. I recommend you now check threads called CPC Mississauga updates and All spouse appeal cases come here and join us because Warsaw might not be the one to finalize your app. Btw, we won our appeal in May. There’s also Lisa whose app got refused by Warsaw. They won their appeal in April.Hi everyone,
Please who have information on how long it takes to get back on processing with Warsaw after approved appeal?

How long does it take to get any response? Though my husband’s medical has expired…bet we’ll have to redo that. Any info will be helpful. Thank you.

For our ADR conference we sent approximately 300 pages. Just like you wanted it? You got it! I honestly don’t have anything nice to say about Warsaw. They refused us without providing a chance to send more proofs, explanations, or to be interviewed. From AOR2 in June straight to a refusal letter in September. Who does this??? We’re human beings. Just imagine my face when I opened my GCkey thinking it’s a passport request letter because during 11 months of the process no one ever told us there’s a problem with our case. So we have waited 8 months for the appeal hearing to show them more proofs and explanations that we could’ve provided before the refusal. I can go on and on about this topic haha. Sorry, I should probably stop. Especially for the sake of “new” applicants here, because my story scares people lol.Hey Passenger19, wowwwww never knew you got refused too. Yeahhhh, we got refused and the pandemic was never considered at all. I got stuck outside of Canada as a PR when visiting my husband. Also said, we didn’t have enough communication proof to show the genuineness of the marriage and I was out of Canada (sponsor) when decision was made. Actually, we were trying not to flood them with too much documentation at the time…our bad…cost us time and emotions
So we finally got them 400 pages of docs for the appeal to show genuineness. In fact, our witnesses were never interviewed when they made the decision to approve our appeal…they didn’t want to waste time. We are so happy…it’s been a long ride since Oct 2019.
We haven’t received anything yet from CBSA since the appeal. We are still waiting. I heard it can take from 2-5months. We hope it doesn’t get that far.
Thank you and wish you and your family the best and others here still waiting for good news. I pray you all get to be with your families soon with good news.
The part that I still don't understand with your story is why there was no procedural fairness letter. For our ADR conference we sent approximately 300 pages. Just like you wanted it? You got it! No it didn’t. But in our documents where we explained confusing moments we wrote about it too. In fact we first wrote it in our request for reconsideration letter. Guess what? Warsaw, declining this request, said that it’s not obligatory for them to send a PFL before the refusal. Since it’s a third successful appeal case that was refused in Warsaw, considering that they don’t have a lot of cases there, I’m starting to see a pattern, honestly...but I guess I’m just very much biased. The part that I still don't understand with your story is why there was no procedural fairness letter.
Did this come up during the appeal, why they did not send a PFL?
All I can say is that Warsaw is faster than London.October 21 applicant got aor on 26th march SA on 12th may stated that our application has been transferred to London visa office on 27th may passed medical after contacting our MP for update find out our application was transferred to Warsaw Poland don’t know why but I hope they will process application fast. Any idea about Warsaw visa office in terms of its speed?
