Please correct me if I'm wrong. Does the BGC goes the following way?

NA1 to IP1 to IP2 to NA2
not it's not applicable at first, then in progress. then it goes back to Na and then in progress again which is referred to as IP2. very rarely it goes back to NA at the end (until after the passport is stamped i guess)

I see on immitracker that some applicants have PPR in like 20days or less since AOR. Been waiting so long in IP2, I'm wondering what's keeping the officers. 1 month in IP2.. :/

those who are in IP2 for a long time, might be in security screening, which according to statistics is taking between 6 months and 18 months. The only way to know is to order GCMS notes. But it will destroy your hopes so I recommend to keep on hoping.

We are in IP 2 since a week now. 24th Feb AOR. My wife who is a primary applicant finished her job contract on June 15 2017 to which we notified CIC through web-form.

She joined new job last week, do we have to inform them again. There is no official letter or joining letter of this job.

Please help.

Day #42 in IP2
Day #109 since AOR

Cic account shows "We need more documents to continue processing your application. We will send you a message with more details." since yesterday.

No e-mail, no message in application, no changes in submitted application. GCMS notes already requested, not delivered yet.

Already checked the similar posts on this forum, but inconclusive. Any ideas? @legalfalcon , @dr feras , anyone?

my account status is almost as similar as yours.
Day #30 in IP2.
Also says "we need more documents to continue processing your application...." for a month now.
Although Ive submitted what was requested.
Called CIC to check, they have received what was submitted and not to worry about the status.

i guess a lot of us are stuck in IP2 for a long time now

Let me know how it goes! I'm dreading ending up as one of those who spend 6 months waiting

6 months is standard processing time in most cases :) Only a lucky few don't have to wait that long.

I'd be happy if I have to wait 6 months since that's the commitment CIC gives for processing 80% of applications.

I'd hate to be among those waiting longer than 6 months - can't even imagine what they'd be going through, especially when they read posts in which applicants waiting even for a month declare that "the wait is killing" them.

Good luck to all of us. May we get our PPRs sooner than later.

On your application status page click on "View submitted application" at the bottom. It might show which documents are needed.

Thanks for the response but as mentiond "no changes in submitted application"

Even on the application page? Then why don't you call the helpline?

My doc status changed to " No additional docs required " last night. Sitting in IP2 since 25th July.

GCMS notes already orders couple of weeks back.
