Outaland applicants seem to have been getting ppr from Ottawa of late. Guess Ottawa is gradually moving
That's great! I thought most of the pprs were from NDVO and Montreal. Let's see how this week goes.Outaland applicants seem to have been getting ppr from Ottawa of late. Guess Ottawa is gradually moving
Could you point to those posts please. I'm only seeing other VOs sending PPRs so far.Outaland applicants seem to have been getting ppr from Ottawa of late. Guess Ottawa is gradually moving
I am in that group (per GCMS notes) Everything is approved oct last year. No update has taken place since then.Any One also in the CPCO COVID RFV group? Also, has anyone gotten a PPR recently?
I think they will ask for medical exam only when they are ready to finalize. Also, there is some new (and for the moment mysterious) policy regarding outland applicants.Hi all,
Just wondering if it’s normal that I’m not being requested to complete a medical exam or received a medical extension? My timeline is as below:
AOR: May 2019
EE, Outland
VO: Ottawa
Re-medical: Sep 2020 passed <- I assumed it lasts one year but I didn’t receive a remedial request or extension. It’s still showing - September 22, 2020 you passed the medical exam.
Update of passport and received: Sep 2021.
Like many others, I’m one of those who’s been waiting for more than 2 years and still no PPR even if the border restrictions have eased. Hope everyone can keep faith and wish everything will be open by this year ( ・᷄ὢ・᷅ )
What is the mysterious policy it’s going to be? Sounds pretty scary…I think they will ask for medical exam only when they are ready to finalize. Also, there is some new (and for the moment mysterious) policy regarding outland applicants.
It should/could be positive news, but it it too early to say for now. What is the mysterious policy it’s going to be? Sounds pretty scary…
Thanks a lot for the information. It didn’t really specify which instructions it will be for the medical exams. But my guts feeling is that it will probably include COVID PCR test and validation of full vaccination into the exam criteria. I guess it will be the 3rd medical exam for me…It should/could be positive news, but it it too early to say for now.
It was posted here two days ago.
I kind of hope that it is something like automatic extension for more than one year, but it could also be as you say. As long as they are not leaving our applications on the side I am fine with that. Thanks a lot for the information. It didn’t really specify which instructions it will be for the medical exams. If the medical exam could be automatically extended it would be the best. I didn’t even know why they keep asking us to re-do the medical and not issuing us with PPR. Every time I had hopes then it came with endless waiting for another year…I kind of hope that it is something like automatic extension for more than one year, but it could also be as you say. Yes, that is really annoying and it can end up being very expensive (I did mine for ~800 USD each...). If you do them of your initiative you know you are taking a risk, but if they asked you to, they should issue PPR before expiration. I hope so to. I had the re-medical done in Sep last year, which I thought everything was getting closer. However, a year has passed and still nothing happened. This is just very frustrating and not sure when the process will be ended.Yes, that is really annoying and it can end up being very expensive (I did mine for ~800 USD each...).
