Landed May 22. Called CIC and was told card was sent out July 13. Got my PR card today July 18. I'm in Nova Scotia, by the way. Hope you guys also get yours soon. Thanks to everyone keeping track.

Got my PR card today. Landed April 26th. I live in Vancouver (BC). Card was sent out on June 24th.

I think both- email and post- by what I've read in the forum. I didn't have to re-submit pictures, but I read that they sent you both an email and a letter.

After 10 months and photo requests and what not, I finally received the final PR card. It was mailed on July 6 and received on July 18 in High River, Alberta. Thank you Lord, IRCC and CanadaPost. The ordeal is finally over.

my landing date is 16th may 2016...I did short landing n now m back in india
Tried to call CIC on +1 613 944 4000 (I tried calling through skype n it was successful in first attempt)

Waiting time was 10 mins....Finally I received information on my PR card....Its dispatched on 12th July 2016

It was really nice to hear from officer who was really willing to help me out with my PR card


Happy now ...now the waiting game begins for card arrival

Hi, I'm in a similar boat doing a short landing now and returning To India. Wanted to check a few things with you -

1) did you have any issues traveling without the PR cards? At immigration in Canada or in India?
2) how are you planning to get your PR cards shipped to you? Through courier? If so is it safe and has it been tried?
3) I've been trying to track my cards online but have had no success. I've entered the information and it says it cannot locate my application for some reason.

Would really appreciate your help and advice. Thanks!

Hi buddy ... It's not a problem if you leaving Canada without card no questions asked

My relatives are coming to India in August they will get it as m little scared using courier service

If it's more than 60 days call IRCC no mentioned in my post

Just curious. Did everyone who landed this year get a request for new photos? We haven't yet and we landed in May 2016. I'm just wondering cos they never said anything to us at the landing they just used the old photos that were sent with the application in 2014.

Mine was updated from DM to complete once i landed and my PR card was dispatched.
