Hello everyone !

I got my PR card in hand. Came in the mailbox today. I stay in Toronto.

It was despatched to me on 4th July 2016. My landing date was 5th May 2016. Now starts the wait for the Health Card !

You will hear various options. I followed the below

1. Call the number
2. Press 2 for following up on PR card
3. Then from the next set of options, press 3 for PR card
4. Then press 2 for new PRs
5. Finally press 0 to talk to CIC agent

Wait time on the phone is usually 5-10 mins. Keep in hand your UCI number. They will also ask you personal questions to confirm your identity.

Hopefully you get a good CIC agent. I've heard of some agents not cooperating/giving out information. Good luck!

Congrats! Here unfortunately it's just raining I wish they'd give us the option to use a courier for this, I'd gladly have paid $20 so I can at least track it.

Same here. I'd gladly pay $20 and have peace of mind instead of worrying that my card might be lost or stuck somewhere. It's so frustrating! People landing after I did and whose cards were mailed out after mine, got them. And mine is still in limbo. Great!

Landed on May 9 2016 got PR Card in the mail today July 14, 2016 . It was mailed on July 4, 2016. I am in Brampton ON

I also got my PR card today My card was sent out on July 4th to Toronto (downtown).

I landed on Feb 25th and I was one of those people who was asked to resubmit the photo. I was waiting for about 5 months and I am sure you can imagine how frustrating it was. Anyway, it is done now.

I wish good luck to all of you and hopefully you will receive your PR card very very soon.

Thanks a lot for the info. Do I also need dependents UCI numbers and details available or principal applicants details are sufficient to get update on all PR cards. And will they release spouse info or spouse needs to call separately.

I just landed last week and the officer didn't ask me for the photos in new size. I was told that I don't need to submit any photos.
Would like to ask is there anybody here receive their PR card straight away without requesting submitting new photos?

I don't quite understand why the officer at the Immigration Office didn't ask me for the photos in new size as they have changed the requirement since last November.
