I thought you should be able to call them using the 1-888 number. As you're over the posted time of 42 days now they should give you information. I called twice, less than a week apart. the first time the posted time was 73 days and they told me nothing, the second time the posted time was 42 days and they told me when my card was mailed and the status of my daughter's card.

Thanks can you give me how can I call them including the short Nom to reach easily

Also please advise what requirement they do ask for verification .

From where I can get IUC and landing Nom ?

Although I'm in Canada I called 1-888-242-2100. I can't remember which options I followed though.

I was asked first/middle/last name, UCI number, date of birth, where and when I landed.

I was also asked address, phone number and email address but I think those were to make sure my information was up to date, not for verification.

I can't guarantee you'll get through on the umber I used as you're overseas, but it's worth a try and as you're over the 42 days now I see no reason why they shouldn't give you as much information as they gave me.

CIC Agent told me they have sent out the photo request but I haven't received it yet! With this crappy weather I don't know when the regular mail will bring my letter and I thought I can send them in advance. But I heard about the IMM5455 form which needs to be submitted with them !

I have sent only photos, That is what they have asked for. Do you know that your photo rejected ? My opinion is you need wait for the letter.

No, no idea at all and the agent I spoke to couldn't give me any indication. I will call again on Friday.

Expert advice needed:

Hi guyz,

I asked the call center agent about the status of my pr card and I specifically asked him that many people are receiving photographs request. He asked me whether or not I received any communication asking me to send the photos, which I said I did not. Then he looked into my file and said that the prc has been sent into production and that I would receiving it shortly.

So my question is:

1) Despite of him asking me about receiving any communication to submit new photos, should he already know by looking into my file whether or not they sent any communication?

2) If they said the card has been sent to production, does that mean Im going to receive my pr card finally?

Landed on October 9th. Whenever I call CIC they keep incrementing the date of PR card arrival. Today when I called them they were very rude and said we have updated notes to for the PR card status and it takes 90 days. They havent requested for any new photographs too.

Will the call centre agent mess up things if we are rude to them as well ? I mean do they take it personal and update the notes to delay the file ? I was also rude as this is becoming ridiculous. There is no reason that they could give about the delay in processing my PR card and asking me to wait.

I figured out for the state of my mental health not to call Cic anymore. They've become extremely rude, nasty and unhelpful. Who knows maybe that's the way they now trained. Out of the 8 ive spoken to 1 was helpful. The rest just rude and seemed to not at all care.

Hi all seniors and my friend,

I just called to CIC agent and she told me that there is no information for my wife PR card. And she said as PR CARD application is over time line, she will make a note. But one thing she told me is there is no update information for my wife email address in their system but they have our Canada local home address and if they need anything they will request by mail. But until now didn't receive any mail from CIC. I am the principal applicant and landed to Vancouver on 28th Sept, 2015.

Any idea why my wife PR CARD is delay? Until now , not received any letter or email from CIC for photo request. Please advice me. Thanks.

Hi I just call CIC for second time and check , one of the very nice lady told me that my wife PR card is sent for production and not yet print out . As PR CARD time line is over, she said she will send a message to PR CARD production team. Hope can get soon.
