Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

My Status already says 'Complete', however, there's an additional line for PR CARD and that says IN PROCESS...and as CIC website says - it takes 44 calendar days from the date they receive application

Good that you can see the PR Card status in Ecas (many ppl, including me can't see that also)..and no, the PRC will come in 44 days after landing..but that Application processing i suppose, happens on or near the 44th day after landing (think abt it, how long would it take for them to pick up ur photo, decide it's acceptable and send the card for printing)...now that you can see the status, ur Card'd be dispatched very soon within 1 week..

For me, the status changed to Complete only 3 days after landing..but the address remained my old (indian address) even though I updated to the Officer while landing as well as used the online notification tool...today morning however, i can see the address has been changed to the Canadian addresss...Fingers crossed, let's hope the Card comes soon...Landed on 21st Sep....

I just wish if this happens - thanks a lot for such positive reply...the only reason I was/am pessimistic is because it says on CIC website that 'This information is updated weekly and shows the time it takes to process an application after we receive a complete application package.'

Hi everyone

Last October 9th I received 2 out of my family's 4 cards; however, the other two still not arrived??!!!!! Our landing altogethet (the four of us) was on 18th August.. isn't that weird? What could have held up the other two for more than a month now?!

You updated your Canada address from Ecas or you didn't do anything? Officer update for you? Then after 1 week later, your Ecas status is complete?

For my case, my Ecas status is already change to COMPLETE But my current mailing address is still not yet change (still showing Singapore address). Should I update from website or should I wait s few more days?
Please let me have your advice.

Hey I just arrived Canada with PR status. As far as I understand I will received PR card after 42 days. But just wanted to check out or confirm that any new landed PR will received the Card without additionally applying for it ? (Sounds to easy). Or should I apply for it or pay the fees.

No need to apply..The officer in the entry airport already forwarded the application to process given that u have provided him with a Canadian mailing address..If not, change the address on ECAS to a Canadian one and the PR card processing should then start autumatically. .
