I called CIC call centre today and they said i will receive a letter this week n need to go to CIC office to pick up the cards? Anyone have any experience why i need to go to office to pick up the cards..

I'm not in any rush for the cards as my drivers license is good until next September,I have updated our SIN numbers, and even got given numbers for our kids, also notified Alberta healthcare, employer etc,and won't be taking any holidays as the missus is about 1/2 way through pregnancy lol.

I am not sure if this is for people who landed as of now or for everyone.
For every one. nothing to do with when you landed what was processing time ..MapleLeafCEC said:The processing time is now 50 days??? :S

Not sure if this will make you feel better, but I had even worse luck, I waited for my passport for 4 weeks (Christmas holidays), and they sent my CoPR with a mistake, then I waited ANOTHER 4 weeks (poor communication, they first asked for CoPR back, not the passport, then in 2 weeks asked for passport).traxton said:It's meant for everyone. Means that the day they released the data, they were just completing applications from 50 days ago.
ARGH I just have the worse effing luck with CIC. First a 3 week wait to get my passport returned (whilst others are getting it in 1 week) and now a never-ending wait to get PR card. I want to effing travel over summer and this is putting a hold on to everything.
Thx for ur info!mjaffer53 said:Just want to give you guys a heads up -
I landed on April 4th, 2015. So far, its been 55 days and i'm still waiting for my PR card. I just got through to CIC call center today and they told me the card has still not been printed and the delay could go up to June 27th. She said this is the average delay time, which looks like another whole month.
The American staff at Carway at friendlier than the Canadian staff, you might end up waiting for over an hour just to sign the papers,we never got interviewed, but the wait was a pain in the ass with 3 young kids getting bored lol.Andrew1982 said:Nice Scott,
