If i was you, i would call the CIC call center and ask them to change ur address.

They will make excuses to do it online. Just keep trying and call again. Request them and they usually do it.

For people that are wanting to get a PRTD, do they have to show up in person ?

IF the application has to be mailed, just thinking they could mail it before they get to the destination, this way they will atleast have the PRTD ready when they get there.
You can not mail it before you get to the destination, you have to be physically not in Canada to apply from where you are at and you also have to submit your passport.

It was strange how it changed back to 115 days for a bit. But yes it is 73 days now. Which is actually much better.

Also 73 days or 73 business days ? i am assuming 73 business days

I would assume it to be calendar days, just like the sponsorship application processing times.

We finally got our PR card today, took exactly 92 days or 3 months from landing.
CIC currently states 73 days for new PR card, so I guess you can add roughly a month to whatever it says :)

I've booked my flight in May but I'm only leaving for 20 days so prob not enough time for getting travel document, I really hope I can get the card before then.
Don't know how was your experience at Osoyoos but the CBSA or maybe CIC staff there told me all false info when I landed......i.e. they told me

1) I will get the card in two weeks or by the end of January.
2) I can not work before getting the card .
3) When I get the card, I have to go to service BC to apply for SIN then I can work afterwards.

I'm glad this forum exists that I knew the correct info beforehand, when the officer told me these info I was screaming "OMG how did you get this job????" in my mind.
You can apply for a new SIN# without the actual PR card! When you went to your landing interview the officer gave you the 'Confirmation of Permanent Residence' document. With this document (plus passport or other government ID such as driver license) you can go to Service Canada and apply for a permanent SIN#. I did that and have been waiting for my PR card since Nov. 19th.

Yea I went to get a SIN the next day after landing at Service Canada, not service BC as the officer told me.......well, at least she was trying to be informative but unfortunately they were all wrong information, who knows how many immigrants she has told the false information to :(
