Folks, a logical reasoning test...

Background of my case: ECAS showing decision made since Jun 07. But no PPR yet.

My query to CIC: Dear Officer, ECAS status on my file showing as "Decision Made" since Jun 07,2013. However, I haven't received any communication so far about the decision. I'm wondering if I missed any communication sent by CIC, about the decision that has been made. Please advise if you have sent any communication to me on my file"

CIC replied last night around 11:41PM as follows
Dear Sir/Madam,
Your application is currently in queue to be finalized. Please note that we are unable to estimate the remaining processing time required for your application.
If you have included a prepaid xpresspost return envelope, your passport will be returned using this envelope. If not, your Passport will be returned to you by regular mail.

WOW! It shows how much attention they pay on emails. I doubt that they even opened your file to see whats going on.

For the life of me, I cannot understand the way files are put in queue and handled. Oh well, all we can do is sit and wait and hope for the best!

Nothing today. Last night I rewatched the movie Casablanca, and smiled at the scene when a man says, "Waiting, waiting, I'll never get out of here, I'll die in Casablanca." Nice to know immigrants have felt like this through the decades!

Thats too funny!!! :D

I have been checking my email 100 times between 8am - 5pm! I dont know how long I can continue like this!

Oh well, all we can do is wait I guess! at least we are lucky that we are already in the country and have an opportunity to become permanent residents!
 
HI all!

I received PPR last monday (June 24, 2013). Thank God!!! I'll be sending our passports nextweek. But I'm little bit worried coz our medical will expire on August. I hope everything will be fine.
 
I did my medicals on 28th of may and my colleague on 5th of June but he already got PPR but I haven't received it yet.Dont know how CIC works.

Same here. I did my medicals on May 27th and awaiting my PPR. CIC's way of processing applications is pretty random it seems. There were applicants who got their PPRs in about 3-4 days after their medicals were received by CIC.
