It won't be corrected if you cross the border. If you will do your landing through a CIC office then it can be corrected. You need to submit a correction form to correct the date.

You can still land with no issues. Mine is also wrong and it was not corrected at the border.

Hi Cabalen,

Do you think it will be okay later on, when determining the eligibility for Citizenship and so on, if the Initial entry or Last entry dates are wrong on the CoPR ?? Did you find out from the CBSA officer about this, as you have landed already ??

I am asking because, my Initial date of entry was wrong too, on the CoPR.
Your response would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Canadiian

Oh but I read somewhere with the same experience and he was able to have it corrected at the border. We plan to drive in the afternoon, you think it's a good time? Or is it better to go there very early in the morning? Thanks!

Probably they had a very nice officer but some are not. Just bring the documents for the correct date. Say the problem early to the officer before they processing anything to avoid longer wait time. Early morning or late evening is the best.

You can check the traffic here if you are going to Niagara Falls:

Technically no. Because in the Citizenship rule this June 2015, they only count the days that you are a PR and not anymore the half-day when you are then a non-PR. But the rules might change again and also they might other implications that we don't know of in the future that might cause a problem.

You fill up this document and scan a copy of your COPR.

Processing takes 6 months which long before your Citizenship requirement.

After sending our passports away on March 13, and it arrived on March 16, I just now received our passports and the CoPRs back from Ottawa, and there are no mistakes or issues. Will land at the soonest opportunity, which will probably be to head across the border over the long weekend.
Good luck to the ones still waiting!!!

Just received my COPR and Passport.

Noticed that the Original Entry Date is the same as the Last Entry Date. Is that okay? What do they mean by Original Entry Date? I originally entered Canada as a student in 2010.

Any input will be appreciated.

For landing that should be ok. Mine is wrong. Some can do it at the border if the officer won't allow, like mine, just fill up the amendment form.

You are good for landing. That's a common issue.

I observed some missing information in our CoPRs. For me and my wife, last entry at, last entry date and original entry date ate missing. We have been in canada during 2011-2013 and currently outside canada. Have applied for PR from ourside canada. One more miss is place of birth for our new borns.

Can someone suggest if this is fine? I sent an email to consulate in our country, but, no reply yet.

Hi Guys - I got the PPR on 1-Mar-2015 and after i had sent my Passport, it was received at ottawa on 12-Mar-2015.

But the twist is my passport was renewed just before sending to them.

Its been 3 weeks and still waiting, also the return tracker is still not activated.

Please advise, if there could be any issue ?
