Waiting for Passport - Please add your case here

Hi Guys,

I sent my passport to CIC for COPR and visa on March 12. On March 23 I was asked to send passport size photos but the email also asked to send the photo whose specification was listed on their website which was PR card size. Confused as to which size photo do they ask for once they have received my Passport?

In order for us to issue the Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) and visas, we require passport sized photos.

Received CPR and passport today..... Passports were sent on 16th March

Got our passports and COPR. However, there's a mistake on my initial entry date. I believe this one can be corrected when we land. We plan to flagpole this weekend.

It won't be corrected if you cross the border. If you will do your landing through a CIC office then it can be corrected. You need to submit a correction form to correct the date.

You can still land with no issues. Mine is also wrong and it was not corrected at the border.

My passport is received by CIC today and eCas status changed to Decision made.

Anyone, any idea what it means.

I have a question,
Is the return tracker gonna be activated immediately after receiving the approved message or it usually takes time to send the passport back?
I have been waiting for 2 days after my application status switch to "closed" and the return tracker is not activated yet.

Return tracker activated! Hope to receive my passport tomorrow (I paid 1 day delivery upfront).

Oh but I read somewhere with the same experience and he was able to have it corrected at the border. We plan to drive in the afternoon, you think it's a good time? Or is it better to go there very early in the morning? Thanks!

Did my landing last night at the border!!! Both of my entry dates were wrong but that was not an issue.

dont theses wrong entry dates pose a problem for the future? maybe when its time to apply for citizenship?

Hello All,
I got Visa on 27th March and landed on 29th March ....
Visa officer said my PR card will arrive in 4-8 weeks time.

I would like to thank all people in this forum. It would have not been possible so easily without the help from this forum.

Now it is the time to take break from this forum.
Once again thank you very much all.... I really wish all people waiting would get their PR soon!!!

I have just received my passport,

I sent it to Ottawa March 16th, and it arrived on March 17th.
March 25th got approved.
March 28th the return tracker was activated.
March 30th received the passport back.


unfortunately, they renew my visa for only 7 months.
