Landed today @ Fort Erie. Just COPR and PP were handed over and in 15 min task was Completed. No que were asked, no other docs were needed to show. Very very easy ....happy for that.

You don't have to worry about the PR card if you have no plan of travelling outside Canada within 60 days.

I feel that PR card processing time will increase because of 2 reasons -
1) Holiday slowdown.
2) Increased number of new immigrants after strike ended.

Processing time was 51 days last week. Now it is 61 days. Unless CIC allocates extra resources for PR card printing, I feel that I might get the card only in March.

tracker activated on December 16 in the evening
December 18, 2013 tracker says Canada post processing error: item re-routed. possible delay
Its been 4 days and haven't received my passport back yet!!

Wait for passports has been nerve-wracking. Was expecting to receive before Christmas but it seems CIC has stopped working and will resume sending passports only in new year. Bad timing

Canada post sucked again this morning with processing my package...it reached somewhere else AGAIN!!
