CEC told expected delivery today.... Richmond is the Canada Post big facility in BC I believe... Every thing comes first here... My friend got it in 2 days in BC...

Well, you should have really used an xpresspost service if you had such tight plans of vacations!! also its a PASSPORT!!!! I would never prefer to use regular mail for such thing. Also, now I'm sure you wont even be able to track your return package since you haven't sent any xpresspost return envelope!! Canada post is a nightmare. delivery takes forever. However, I dont think they will loose your package. Dont worry, you have no choice now.. you need to wait more.. its taking 10-20 days after its been received by Ottawa office to ship it back and then the delivery time which depends on where you stay considering regular mail is relatively longer time to receive...

They already shipped it out. Just waiting for it to arrive here in toronto. Delivery standard says 3 business days with in province but it's already 9 business days. I have read a lot of stories of people losing their passport through Canada post and they even have a tracking number. What makes mine different? Take note, they even have tracking number and mine doesn't. I'm assuming Canada post screwed me big time.

I have received COPR today but the date-of-birth is not correct on it. Can I get it corrected on border, while landing? Or do I need to send it back to CIC?

Well its really hard to say now what has happened. atleast in xpresspost, you have very less chance to loose a package and if you have the tracking number, you have something to investigate.. bdw how do you know that your passport was already shipped out from Ottawa? did you contact them?

Ah.. Sorry to hear . I would suggest you to send an email to cpp-Ottawa .

I cannot understand how can they make these errors when all the info is storer electronically and all they need to do is print it out. I guess it's because someone is manually entering these details into CoPR .

Well its really hard to say now what has happened. atleast in xpresspost, you have very less chance to loose a package and if you have the tracking number, you have something to investigate.. bdw how do you know that your passport was already shipped out from Ottawa? did you contact them?

I mailed them and they replied saying they have come to a decision and it was already returned to me on November 26. I called the post office and of course they don't know what happened.

There is a chances that its somewhere with CANADA Post. You may want to talk to Canada Post with your tracking number.

My passport reached on 13th Nov and no update so far.,..Anybody else there in my category?

Did any of you send an email to cpp-o to confirm that they received the passports? And also did you ask estimated return time?

I know that it's too early for me to ask them when stamping will happen considering that my package was only delivered 5 days before. Won't send any email until 20th of December and I hope that I will get it befor that
