Hey ,

I did medical on 6th. No ecas update yet. I sent 2 emails so far whether they received my medicals. No reply.


Do you think sending a reminder will piss them off ?

y3knik , send them a reminder and sometimes it will work and they will send your passport back with visa.

Non-Canadian in Canada
The processing time for a travel document application is 20 business days. This 20-day period only starts once we have received a complete and accurate application and does not include postal delivery time.

Processing times may change depending on the volume of applications received and are not guaranteed. Complexity of routine verifications and security checks leads to longer processing times.

Urgent and express service
For urgent or express service, you must apply in person at the Passport office located at:

Place du Centre, Commercial Level 2
200 Promenade du Portage
Gatineau, QC
The table below shows the expedited processing services. In addition to the passport fee, these additional fees will apply.

Expedited services available for non-Canadians applying in person Service Additional fee Processing time
Urgent pick-up C$110 24 hours
Express pick-up C$50 2 to 9 business days
Standard pick-up C$20 10 business days

Proof of travel is required for urgent pick-up service; it may also be requested for express pick-up service. Travel document is not same as visa stamping . Unfortunately , the below does not apply for visa stamping . Travel document is something in lieu of your pr card.

unfortunately there is no way beside waiting,most likely you will get passport before x-mas.

I'm afraid there is no set processing time for this.

All you can do is check the spreadsheet of this thread. Average time is 20 days. It can be more or less.
