Hello all!
Just to be absolutely certain, here is my scenario:
I'm a Kenyan citizen but currently residing in Canada on a visitor status with my husband who is a Canadian citizen. My fingerprints are being processed at the moment in the U.S (I was a student there since the age of 18).
There is a backlog for fingerprints at the FBI right now so I was wondering if we should go ahead and send in my paperwork to Mississauga so at least my husband can be approved as a sponsor in the mean time. But should I only send his paperwork to get approved or everything we have and write a letter regarding the fingerprints? How would it work if my husband was approved and my fingerprints were still not in?
Any insight on this subject would be appreciated. Thanks!
