Thanks for your feedback. I have seen many individuals on this forum who had/have booked flights a couple of months in advance especially if for international travel. I don't think anyone predicted CIC's printing machines would have to be replaced resulting in resubmission of new pictures.

Thank you all! Will I need a travel document if I enter by car (from the U.S. to Canada)? From what I read, if you enter by cross the border by car, you only need your landing documents. Am I missing something?

I had emailed the NRB embassy and they asked me to send my passport to NRB so I'm guessing they transferred my application from DAR to NRB. Again, not sure how they are handling applications between DAR and NRB :(
