How long is she coming for? She shows her own bank statements to cover a visit as well as ties to return and travel history.

not sure how long but honestly she wants to work here if ever that she can find someone that will hire her.
So she needs an approved LMIA from an employer who cannot hire a Canadian or PR with her skills/education. So make sure she finds a job with LMIA that matches her current job and education. Then she can apply for a closed work permit. She is not a true visitor so she wants to show cash in the bank to be able to visit Canada.

So if she landed here as a visitor and if she tries to apply at an employer that is willing to sponsor her she needs to have the same skills needed on the employer needs to be able to transfer to closed working permit?

The employer needs to go through the LMIA process. This means the employer needs to advertise the job for at least a month and prove no Canadian could be hired for the role and this is why the employer needs to hire a foreign worker. The job needs to align to your sister's past education / work experience.

Employer is not sponsoring her. Employer files and pays $1k for a LMIA because they couldn’t hire a Canadian/PR or person on a work permit. The whole point of a LMIA is that employer cannot find anyone with the skills/education/language etc. Then employer waits for approval. Then with LMIA, sister files for closed work permit and proves she is the only one with the experience/education etc. She has to show she is the only person who is qualified. The process is long.

I understand , my wife was employed at a Tim hortons branch and the owner told her that they are willing to hire my sister via lmia process but since my sister has no experience on working on a restaurant or food services the owner told my wife that at least get a certificate or training on food handling before they can try to process my sister papers,im not sure as if she get a shourt course will help her to have an approval on the said lmia job.

What is her job experience and education in? We have seen people on this forum refused a closed work permit for Tims without any work experience. A food handling course will not be enough. It is online and a couple of hours. Why does she need a visitor visa if just applying for a closed work permit. She doesn’t need to be in Canada.

i think she was working as a clerk and has a tourism course, well i told her if she can also try doing part time jobs in restaurant, what i mean also if she go here via visitor visa and try to find a job here with a different work will it be more easy or its the same thing she still needs to have the experience and the education.
