I am not sure if this happened to anybody recently. My sister visa got rejected and we couldn't understand the reason behind it according to us we provided all the documents. We applied for my brother visa using almost the same documents last year and he has visitor visa.
My sister wanted to travel this August with my 6 months old nephew. I am her younger sister and a permanent resident in Canada.
The visa was refused before because we didnt know that my nephew's documents were supposed to be provided under family member along with my sister application.
We applied again in June and this time we provided all the documents including my nephew's Authorization letter from his father who wasn't coming, passport, birth certificate, his father passport, photo, forms along with primary applicant (my sister) documents.
The reasons mentioned in a letter are:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on the purpose of your visit. - we provided day to day itinerary and air tickets as well.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your travel history. - She didn't travel anywhere internationally before.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your personal assets and financial status. - She doesn't have any property on her name but we provided employment letter from her employer, pay slips, her bank account details, savings, as I am the one who was sponsoring this trip I showed my business license, bank statements with somewhere around 20K cad.
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as a temporary resident, as stipulated in paragraph 179(b) of the IRPR, based on your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence. - we provided photos of me n her at different event, my passport n her with same parents name n address, her husband wasnt coming along and we provided marriage certificate, his passport with my sister's name as a spouse on it, showing her ties in a country of residence.
• I am not satisfied that you have truthfully answered all questions in the documents you have submitted in support of your application, as required by subsection 16(1) of the IRPA. Specifically, I am not satisfied that the following information is truthful: You indicated in your application that you have never been refused a visa or permit, denied entry or ordered to leave Canada or any other country. - As her visa was rejected in May and we mentioned that in a form imm5257e. How else do we supposed to mention that?
Apart from this the round air tickets were booked and fully paid. Can someone please help us what are we missing in our application and how are we supposed to apply for a child's visa who is traveling with one parent. We submitted my nephew's authorization letter from his father who wasn't coming, passport, birth certificate, his father passport, photo, form along with primary applicant (my sister) documents. What else we are missing?
Why her visa was rejected for purpose of visit when I provided the same thing for my brother and my mother? Her job, her husband wasnt coming shows her ties with the country and my funds were enough for financial support. She was supposed to come for 3 weeks only. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
