hi guys,

I want to apply visitor visa of my mother so that she can visit me here in Canada. I want to know about the funds required in her account, I will take care of all her expenses here in Canada. So how much she required to have in her account before she apply. Please advice

She has to confirm by showing enough fund that she has strong family ties , so as much u can show (liquid money , land property etc. )
as u gonna carry her all expenses in canada , so u must show your fund in canada( YOUR WORK , STATEMENT FORM BANK etc....)

Make sure you write a letter of invitation stating that you will cover any and all expenses she will have when she is here, and send it in with your application. I know CIC still likes the applicant to have at least some of their own funds in case a problem should arise. How long is she coming for?

Also mention she is only coming for 2 to 3 weeks even though she is coming for months. I find they agree when its a short time, as she doesn't need to show a lot of funds for that.

I stated 1 month , that my mom ll visit ,but main purpose of visit is attending my convocation ceremony
So what's the possibility of getting in my case
