We are expecting delivery by Oct/Novemeber. Am applying visitor visa online for my in-law for whom visa expired(due to passport expiry) by June 2025.
She was already in canada for exactly 180 days during 2022 to 2023.

1. I and my wife can upload our pay stubs and NOA.
2. How much in CAD should in-law show in India account, She currently has 6750$.
2.1 Me and my wife are going to be primary sponsors. How much bank/TFSA statements we should show as proof.
3.I don't see a place to attach Invite letter or (wife's)bank statements, NOAs, in-law's property documents, in-law's Bank statements. There is only one Additional documents upload folder
4. Do we need to attach use of representative form or can apply from our IRCC ID.

Does the below look correct ?

  • Why do you need a visa?

To visit my grandparent, grandchild, sibling, half-sibling, step-sibling or non-dependent child who is a Canadian citizen, person registered under Canada's Indian Act or permanent resident of Canada

  • Tell us more about what you'll do in Canada. Include dates.

My daughter is currently pregnant, and her due date is in November 2025. I intend to provide her with support during the final stages of her pregnancy, be present for the delivery, and help with postnatal care for her and the newborn. Intend to stay between Aug 20 2025 to Feb15 2026 for a period of approximately 6 months.
Thanks for the help!

Apply for a supervisa. Savings are too low for such a long visit.

@canuck78 - I need to bring them with in the next two months as an emergency. Could you Please guide on the supporting documents.

Unless there is more to the story and this is a medical emergency pregnancy is no viewed as an emergency. On top of that you are in Canada so she is not alone. A visitor visa is based on your MIL’s profile not your own. You can include your information as well but around 7k for 6 months is likely not enough funds although you never know with IRCC. You can certainly try for the TRV at least she has a previous visit to Canada. Why is supervisa not an option? They can both end up having similar processing times and sounds like she is likely to qualify. Would also eliminate any mention of helping which could be considered unpaid work. Best to limit it to meeting her new grandchild.

Hi.. I am pregnant and applied for super visa for my parents on April 28, 2025. Biometrics was done on May 2 and no update on the application after that. It's been more than 3.5 months. Do you suggest getting a doctor' note about my pregnancy and adding it to the application will help. Since in the invitation letter had only mentioned that they will be visiting us and do sight seeing. I am scared that it will backfire. Please advise.Any inputs appreciated.

Unless you are experiencing severe pregnancy complications a doctor’s note will have no impact. Where are they from?

Did you get any update on the tracker? like eligibility completed ? or there is absolutely no movement? What does the GCKey say regarding eligibility?

Yes have mailed the MP office. They said they will send a message to the processing office since the processing time has passed.
Will post here if there are any updates. Thank you.

So you included a letter from the OB? That often creates more harm than good. Agree that would contact MP. Processing is taking around 2-3 months for many so this is longer than average.
Thanks for the input. I didn't attach the letter to the application yet. Will avoid doing that.
