Visitor Visa to canada from Detroit...

My wife and I sent application package along with passports to Canadian Consulate office Detroit on July 3rd and received by them on July 5th. Anxiously awaiting the passports back with Visa.

Received VISA just now. Package was sent to consulate on July 3rd and received by them on July 5th.

Guys - I application was received on July 17 and I got an email tha my visa was mailed out on 31st

I just got to see that my passport was mailed this evening(1st Aug). I will receive it by tomorrow, my application was received by consulate on 11th July '12.

I just received my passport. My application was received by the Consulate on 17th July.
Looks like the Consulate has speeded up TRV processing.

Hi,

There's no way to track or check the status of your visa applications online. You're only option is to wait. You can send them an email since your application reached 5weeks now.

I received my TRV today, it took 16 business days.

Hi everybody,
i am visiting my sister here in usa,and i applied for a visa to canada to visit montreal with my sister and her 2 children,i have 10 yerars visa to state,now i just received my passport with no visa in it because they said they feel i will not leave canada after the sejour : the raisons for thet 1/your inside travel 2/your visit raison 3/your financie situation in your own country is not that strong leave canada after your sejour , do i can apply again and get it if send them my bank statement from my own country ?
