Of all my travels I was never ask return tickets or proof of funds at port of entry . I always travel genuine , book a business class round trip , go with 3 different card ( 1 Visa card and two credit cards ) .
Out of curiosity, if you don't mind, how did your aunt get residence in Canada?

So you have travel to US, UK, NZ or AUS? As for strong ties, those are having PR in country you are living in with job letter and approved leave with spouse and children. As a student, you don’t really have strong ties but hopefully IRCC will approve your ties.
No I have not been to Us , Nz , Uk or aus. . Canada is first I wanted to go visit my family and they denied me on vague reason that doesn’t add up which immigration lawyers said and suggest we go to judiciary review to deal with them cause officer decision so wrong and didn’t look at evidence submitted . I can’t have those countries they want me to have as travel history if they won’t make fair decision for me with all evidence . Yes I hope these evidence is enough and considered by Ircc .

Who make the decisions , is it immigration officer of Canada who are Chinese that does it or Canadian officer in Canada that do . Cause in China all visa officer have only Chinese there and zero nationality do that country nationality ? I went to Canada embassy for biometric last year and there was zero Canadian but just Chinese only .

Everyone who works in the Canadian embassy is Canadian. Your application is reviewed by a Canadian. If you went to get biometrics then you would have gone to a VFS centre that is a third party. VFS officers don’t make the decisions.

If you want to go for Judicial Review then go for it. Good luck.

Flying business class is irrelevant in the whole scheme of being approved for a visa .

As for the USA visa application. Per US law the officer must assume you have immigrant intent when applying for a visa . Aka you won’t leave the USA .
Thats why when visitors enter the USA you’re asked
Why are you visiting ? And when are you leaving?
It’s a Canadian that’ll make the decision.
An American will make there decision

It’s your job to prove you’re not going to stay .

By even mentioning JR gives rise that to the VO was correct in refusing
Per what the VO states

“I have concerns that they seek to enter Canada for other reasons. I am not satisfied on balance they
are a genuine visitor.”

Doesn’t take a rocket scientist to read between the lines on that

You are a student in a third country , who has citizenship with a country that has a high incidence of filing for asylum .
Travelling to Japan is irrelevant.

Getting a visa is a privilege, people gotta stop thinking it’s there right….its not

Would personally save your money. Liquid savings is what IRCC really considers. Your best chances of getting a TRV is by returning to Ghana after your studies, establishing ties to Ghana like longterm employment, etc. A trip and return to the US would may help your TRV application.

Can you look at this clearly , I was just giving details of my travels not like a flex or something do you understand cause seen videos they ask boarding pass and funds where you have to state all that at port of entry showing you have those cards and boarding pass do you get it . JR was a suggestion by a Canadian immigration lawyers who review my application . Come on China is not a third world country I can bet on that , don’t believe anything you see on media cause is not and it very very advanced like leaving in 2060 . My cousins and sibling who are dual citizens ( Canada and Ghana ) they also traveled to China and Japan for tourism after I came to Asia , they said Canada is not advanced like these two countries , cost of living been very cheap and didn’t even want to leave back to Canada saying it boring and not advanced like these two countries . Yes China is a communist country with laws unfavorable to foreigners and 80% of it citizens been narrow minded about the outside world and racism to blacks been very high but it is not nothing like a third world country . Yes their citizens are obsessed with white skin fantasy especially for Americans , Canadians and European I guess that’s why they have high asylum seeking ( like opportunist behavior ) . According to laws read , Asia countries travel history that US or Canada took as relevant is Japan first and South Korea then maybe Singapore ( alliance or diplomatic relationship with they also have strict visa rules ) . You know I choose China over Canada when I was in Ghana looking for a school to do my masters , from Ghana I have very strong family ties , dad been been politicians , my own personal properties , investments , mutual funds and government bonds with Ghana ) But I decided to go have the Asia experience then applied to come to China without their concern then left which one of the reason I am in this situation at the moment .

Yeah you’re really right about that cause one immigration lawyer of Canada also told me same that is better I apply from my home land Ghana which is more better cause from my background I have very strong family ties with Ghana than in China .

You have no real ties to China. You could technically be forced to leave China at any point and wanting to finish your studies is not considered a strong tie

The fact that you also have a sibling in Canada reinforces why there will concerns you will try to remain in Canada. Nobody is calling China a 3rd world country although in the countryside many parts are. The China visa policy is relatively lax since they can deport most people or make their lives so uncomfortable or impossible that people return to their home country. Getting a visa to visit Japan also not terribly hard because there are minimal pathways to remain in Japan permanently. Canada also doesn’t share immigration information like it does with the 5 eyes countries.

You have good point about that especially as international student but don’t you think my investment in China ranging like 25,000usd plus for education , apartment lease /contract and in final year graduating in 2025 in July kind help some ties for China , I did show my payment of full
School fees in China .

I understand that’s why I said it policy is very unfavorable for foreigner but is their policy so we respect it and stay away from trouble just to finish our studies here successfully without getting deported or so . Yes i understand their concern of me having too strong ties in Canada than China but i have no plans of staying in Canada else I would have long time from Ghana . I love my country whole hearted and my goals for my country won’t permit me to even be dual citizenship which I don’t want, That’s why I keep been Ghanaian only but I just don’t know how to convince officer that my visit is genuine and I won’t be staying in Canada after my visit . I have spent too much money in China education with no work or anything just my own money using for survival and investments paying me each month . Those money couldn’t have been used to start a business or something but it been invested in education here in China to learn Project manager for software engineers . I am in final year so I need to finish what I started successfully the after say good bye to China forever .

So let me know what you think is best way for me to counter this situation I am cause this visit is really essential to me in this country I am at the moment . Maybe from your great experience and knowledge you can suggest how a student in such country can demonstrate strong ties with his education or something cause I have no plans to stay in China or work here in China after graduation . Just going back to my mother land . I will be very grateful if you share me a better way to deal with this from within China so I just visit Canada for 7 days and return back .
