Okay but it is a sponsored invite from letter stating is a sponsored letter . You see in one of the fill forms you need to give the total amount that’s where I told that amount but this I can tell in mean of financial my total amount of money for self . In the past I just showed the bank statements without writing the amount I have in letter for self . But do you think now with recently travel history added and length of it been 7 days g with each day activity listed helps clear all this doubt cause I am very genuine , I have no intention of staying in Canada but only for visit . I have other countries I need to visit too during winter holidays .
How long is your winter holidays? 7 days in Canada is rather short, especially if one wants to visit the country from coast to coast. Besides, there's no such thing as sponsored invite and sponsored letter.

I have same issue , I am a student in China . I showed 90,999 cad. Showing all source of money . It a sponsored visit which one by my aunty who showed 30,000cad and I showed the rest from my bank statement plus that of investment . They came telling me socia economic situation so they concern I am not a genuine visitor and have other intention to enter Canada . The visit was for a month during my winter vacation . I have travel history of China , Qatar when I submitted . But now I have travel history of Japan and Macau too added . So please how do o deal with issue

I have USA visa interview too in January for 5 days visit with purpose of tourism . So I am yet to encounter usa visa atleast they look at evidence and have real interview . Canadian immigration lawyer told me it was their decision system that refused it especially looking at evidence I presented and gcm note they brought so is best to send them to federal court challenge but I feel going to federal court is not worth it yet especially for a visit visa like spending 6000-9000cad for that with lawyer isn’t that necessary . But let me know your opinions from what I said above .
You do realize with interviews for a USA visa they typically only take five minutes

The officer typically has already made decision before you sit down .

They’ll ask at most a few questions . The information they use is the same information the VO for Canada used to make there decisions

Plus the United States has access to your Canadian visa application

Yes USA have access yes ( Canada definitely using discretion on photo I submitted which was a bit looking homeless with over grown hair in pictures especially we know appearance count in every interview so USA will a true meeting with my real self not a picture I submitted in winter last year when I was looking messy cause of exams , strong ties to Canada than China and length of stay been a month but I don’t have any significant family ties in USA that’s the difference plus going for only 7 days in USA . I going as tourist as every tourist will do . Since I am an international student in China and going to Canada where officers sees I have strong ties in Canada more than China especially with my aunty been my maternal mother( Canadian ) , another aunty been Canadian and grandpa been Canadian too . My USA application it fully self sponsored with 55,000 usd for 5days only.

Fairly having access to Canada data shouldn’t affect the independent decision of USA without any external force especially with no crime record , overstaying in any of my travel history or been involved in any terroist activities . As fairly as Japan and Macau did . I am even going to Singapore and Korea this month so before the visa interview I will have to add those too travel history so I hope USA immigration make their decision on fair independent observation and answers I answer truthfully

I meant my aunty invited me and she wrote in letter saying she will be sponsoring my trip and all expenses . She did explain that too in her letter so sponsorship . But I did notice officer look at your self means too . So can you share me your great knowledge on what you think of how I will do it now cause now I just need 7 days in Canada and I will write detailed purpose for each day and support with 61,000cad yes

If you have $61k in your own funds then no need for support by your aunt (parent’s sister). She writes a letter saying that she is inviting you to Canada, but you will support your own visit and pay for all expenses.

Okay then that is fair enough , i understand now and I will do that . So do you think with the length reduced due to 7 and have other countries to visit too makes it much better plus new travel history that happened in October including my business class round trip boarding pass and funds ( each day activity written in purpose of visit ) clear officer concern thinking I have other intentions cause truthfully I have no other intentions apart from visit which I will leave right away back to China then be on way to another country for tourism ( still young so this is right time to visit most countries as possible before I have family of my own which comes with responsibilities ).

Maybe. IRCC views travel history as visiting US, UK, NZ and AUS. It is always difficult for a single person to get a Canadian TRV because you don’t have family ties and are mobile. Plus you don’t live in country of citizenship.

But how can you get a travel history to those countries if they don’t allow you at first place , you can’t also just pop in marriage cause of a visitor visa which is unnecessary cause marriage / having a family is a whole thing . I am a temporary resident in China yes but I have my graduation on July 2025 so I have all reasons to return back to China cause I have already invest a lot of dollars staying there for years like ranging 25,000 usd plus cost of living , rent , fees etc

Is that a strong home ties for a student. .
Of all my travels I was never ask return tickets or proof of funds at port of entry . I always travel genuine , book a business class round trip , go with 3 different card ( 1 Visa card and two credit cards ) .

So you have travel to US, UK, NZ or AUS? As for strong ties, those are having PR in country you are living in with job letter and approved leave with spouse and children. As a student, you don’t really have strong ties but hopefully IRCC will approve your ties.

I traveled to Japan in October 3rd 2024 and left Japan on 9th . Then I went to Macao for 2 days then after I left back to China .
May be you will have a stronger case after you got visitor visa to US and travel and return back.

Macao is China. So you only travelled to Japan. And you are not living in your home country and you have strong tie to Canada (vs China).
