Thought we suggested you should email NDVO- did you find out which visa office is processing your request?
The passport can be renewed under express processing.
Do email the visa office to inform them about the change in passport details. BTW you should email the visa office that processes applications for the state/region where your mom lives and do not email NDVO.
Also, hopefully you know:
Regardless of the validity of the passport, the validity of the TRV will be issued depending on the assessment made by the visa office who reviewed the application

@ Bryanna, I'm just concered that sending a new one won't make an issue. I mean I'll be okay even if they stamp a 6 month visa. I just want to try. I'm fine either way.

Your application has been processed on your current passport. You must send the web form + an email to your local visa office after you get the new passport (for the new passport details).
Will you be able to get the new passport within the 30 days deadline for passport submission?
Yes, we'll apply for an urgent passport, which takes 4-5 days. So once I get the new one, i will send the web form (with scanned copy of new and old passport bio page) and also write an email. Btw should i send the web form and email on the same day i submit the passport at VAC, or should i email them first and then wait a day or two to send the passport?
